My planned 1:1 terrain is almost done.
Top tip: when assembling a Billy bookcase it is best to put the unit on its head when it is time to place the backplane. Gravity makes your live much easier when trying to assemble these  things on your own.
Only thing left are the doors. And of course I had to pick the variant that is a real pain in the posterior (Hogbo).

Artists you say ?
For ‘classic’ art I’d pick these 3:
– Larry Elmore ( https://larryelmore.com ) ; if you’ve seen (classic) D&D you’re probably familliar with his work

– Boris Vallejo / Frank Frazetta; Both (in)famous for a lot of the art for Conan. Sword & Sorcery as it should be.

– Simon Stålenhag (https://simonstalenhag.se/ ) : there is something really cool about the way he matches 70’s-80’s visuals with Sci Fi elements.

There’s probably more out there, but I wouldn’t know their names unless I happen to have seen their art and name side by side. I wouldn’t be surprised if more than a few ‘lesser’ artists don’t get recognised because their art matches that of one of the big names in the industry.
