I recently bought a Creality Ender 3 printer after being impressed with the YouTube videos of it and how easy it was to assemble and a very competent printer for the price .

Lots of beating my head against the printer and some awesome help from the printers forum later , here are the first few results :

That looks like a pretty good result and the terrain looks good too. Did you find that on Thingiverse?

No , I haven’t had good luck with sci fi stuff on thingiverse , other stuff definitely.

This is from a Kickstarter I backed by Necroplex :

    Those look great.

Any tips for setup or profiles?   I should be putting mine together this weekend.

    Tips for Ender 3 ?

The bed warp is real , I lost a bunch of prints to that bed being warped in the middle and judging by the comments on the Facebook group I am not alone .

I used the stock profiles provided with the printer and tweaked it a little for brim settings .

Also remember to use ABS temperature settings if using ABS , I might have goofed and used PLA settings and caused myself undue heartburn….

    Cheers!

It seems like a warped print bed is a common issue with the Ender 3 – I’m almost expecting it.  I’ll check the state of mine when it arrives and see whether I should buy a glass plate to fix it.

Really liking those Necromunda pieces.  Hopefully I can get a similar quality.
