The images show in my browser when creating the post but just disappear, using both Safari and Chrome but posting them in the project was fine.
June 29, 2018 at 9:15 pm #1221257I’ve been lurking in here for ages but I think I’ve only posted up once before! I’ve just finished up my Stormcast Hero so I thought I’d post it up!
I’ve got a PROJECT where I’ve been posting up my other Stormcasts.
Let me know what you think! (Be kind lol!)
June 29, 2018 at 9:35 pm #1221285Continue to progress on my Victric Numidian light horse, here with focus on the horses.. 🙂 The first picture is the status after airbrushing, essentially a “beasty brown” coat over a black/white basecoat followed by softly toning down the darker areas with a dark brown and finally top of the horse got some more beasty brown with a bit of white in it.
The second picture is the completed horses, did a selection of different manes, emphasised some recesses and highlights and completed some other details. I tried to keep the smooth appearance gained from the airbrush as much as possible.
June 30, 2018 at 5:23 am #1221498Finished these that have been sitting in the cupboard for a while. Anyone else suffer from the old, “I’ll paint those models when I’m a better painter so they don’t look crappy.” Thoughts?

June 30, 2018 at 6:42 pm #1221822The Blackmane Great Company finds itself further reinforced by half of Ragnars Wolf Guard, Rune Priest Tyr Pyrewalker (a younger Priest who has more of an afinity for flame than the storm), and two lone Wolves who will either serve as, well, Lone Wolves, Pack Leaders or Battle Leaders.
By my reckoning this takes me to over 1500 points, with another 1500 of Grey Hunters, Blood Claws, Fenrisian Wolves, Long Fangs and Wolf Guard to go 🙂
June 30, 2018 at 11:03 pm #1221894Some retouching on my Darkoath Chieftan from the Silver Tower Box:
Technically he was done a long time ago, but after looking at his old photo I became unsatisfied with it
July 1, 2018 at 3:39 am #1221951Before we had the new models, I had started modifying a DreamForge Leviathan for my Inquisitorial Army. With it done, it’s still a beast, smaller than a Warhound, but towers over the Dominus Classes.
July 1, 2018 at 6:51 am #1222039Two Scourge ships basecoated, a Wyvern cruiser and Shenlong heavy cruiser respectively:
I have UCM Berlin and Moscow type ships assembled too, but I’m holding off basecoating for now as it’s midnight where I am and I don’t think the people I live with would appreciate me kicking on the air compressor.
