Designing Infinity Operation: Sandtrap! From Concept To Miniature | Infinity N5 Week
October 15, 2024 by avernos
One of the best things about Infinity is that the art and concept design that goes into the factions is so in-depth. With that in mind, Gerry talks to Carlos and Killian from Corvus Belli about the process of bringing the miniatures from Operation: Sandtrap to life.

Jizz Samurai (Jizamurai)? Did no one run these names by a 14 year old boy?
🤣🤯😱
Like the LongWang TAG..? xD
Excitment rising!
I’ve been away from Infinity since its second edition, but I’m really tempted to come back right now!
Always fun to see the concept art and the full artwork for the new models.
Really enjoy being able to see the progress from concept art to miniatures. Both the Kestrel Colonial Force and the Shindenbutai look amazing. My favorite is the crouching Yamabushi figure.
i think the yamabushi might be one of the best models CB has made!
incredible artwork
Preorder is in, loving the JSA.
These designs looks absolutely amazing. Can’t wait for the release.
I am comment to win, and you can, too!
The ‘Happy Clownn Face’ is something that imediately stood out to me, but I do like the samurai pose.
Never, played Infinity, but am tempted to get involved. 100% will if I win. 😉
i do like the artwork
I think another Art book would be a great idea. I’ve not played in years but have loved looking at the figure releases and the artwork
So far, I have bought every 2 player bundle they have done, but one. I love the world they have created and the minis they put out. I have the RPG, and I went all in on the TAG Raid. And here is the screwed up part; I have been buying their stuff for over a decade and I have never gotten anyone in my gaming group to play. I still get a lot of enjoyment in my hobbying with their world. Unfortunately I am way behind in my painting. I do have a wonderful pile of potential though. Also,… Read more »
I don’t want JSA… I need JSA 😎
So hype
Neat to see some units with their environment considered n their design. I like robes on power armour as much as the next guy, but this fits the theme of the new world.
Samurai in space, winning combo
I’d say yes to a new Art Book.
Definitely going to have to check out the new rules when they come out. I do like the look of the infantry with the breather masks, very cool!
The JSA look amazing! You can really see that a lot of time and effort went into their aesthetic design.
Nice designs as always
Always cool to have a peak into the creative process.
