Small Rodent Heroes Hit Kickstarter In Westfalia’s Maus! Campaign
February 16, 2026 by brennon
Westfalia Miniatures and the fantastically talented Boris Woloszyn are back with a new project on Kickstarter. Maus! takes us back to the stories of our childhood and the heroic adventures of tiny, heroic mice battling against fantastical foes. Note: There are only 30 hours left on this campaign if you want to back it!
Maus! Kickstarter // Westfalia Miniatures
This collection of Maus Folk is an absolutely charming and wonderful collection of beautiful figures for you to use in your role-playing games, miniature wargames, and beyond. You have some gloriously characterful heroes to pick up alongside villains and even a monster!
There are some fantastic characters that would be great for telling your stories on the tabletop...
Mouseweazel // Westfalia Miniatures
Mouseweazel is the notable wizard, mage and sorcerer of the group. He has wandered the world looking for lost secrets and recently made some new friends who are going to be helping him on his adventures.
Sir Caspar is one of the noble warriors who is joining this quest alongside Mouseweazel. He has proven himself in battle and now seeks to prove himself against a new foe.

Dorian // Westfalia Miniatures
Another of the swordsmice within the group is the swashbuckling Dorian. He is a daring and heroic fencer and has quite the history with Rakeem as he was hunting him to challenge him to a duel!
Rakeem // Westfalia Miniatures
Rakeem joins the King's Court as an emissary from afar, bringing his own brand of heroics to the adventure. You need a bit of tension between your heroes if you're going to tell a good story!
If you're looking for the strength in the group, then it comes from the mighty Vitek the Hammer. No one can best him at forging blades.

Otto the Thief // Westfalia Miniatures
If you'd prefer stealth over brute strength, you could also call on the aid of Otto the Thief. He might be out for himself and all that he can pilfer but he could be handy should you find yourself in a tight spot.
Small Villains!
There are many more heroes for you to pick up as part of the campaign, so it's well worth going over to the Kickstarter and checking them out alongside their stories. You also need some villains to fight and Westfalia has provided.
Necromouser // Westfalia Miniatures
For example, here we have the cursed Necromouser. He should have been dead long ago but he now wanders the halls of crypts and catacombs, raising the dead to do his bidding.
Undead Mouse // Westfalia Miniatures
Some of that work is on display here with the addition of the Undead Mouse above. This scampering servant is no doubt one of many that scurry forth to do their master's bidding when his domain is invaded.
Deep in the depths of the catacombs, however, is something altogether more dangerous, the fearsome Catrog!
The Catrog // Westfalia Miniatures
This demonic creature from long ago has found its way back into the world and will be the ultimate test for the Maus Folk heroes that we've seen here. Another characterful and engaging sculpt that is no doubt going to be painted to match your cats at home.
Maus! Stretch Goals
As well as the miniatures above, there are also plenty of Stretch Goals to sink your teeth into.
Maus! Stretch Goals // Westfalia Miniatures
For example, you can get the glorious King Gunther and Princess Shalala, who would be noble questgivers in your adventures. You can find more from Westfalia and Boris over on the Kickstarter page as mentioned above. This range is obviously quite tiny, being mice, and so your miniatures will stand somewhere between 12mm and 16m,m with the likes of the Catrog and Rat Ogre being much bigger!
A gloriously different Kickstarter from Westfalia and one that is mighty tempting for me, considering my love of anthropomorphic adventurers.
Could you be equally tempted to dive in?

Those are precious !
If only shipping wasn’t eating most of hobby budget for one month :S
They are super cute, but the shipping costs are bit too high for me.
Lovely looking minis. Never bought anything from Westfalia before but they are great sculpts.
OH MY GOD THE NECROMOUSER
