Stingray, Stingray Dududududu!

Everyone loves some Stingray…and so when we saw that there was a game based around Stingray we had to go and find out more about it.

One of the cool things about this show is that it seems like everyone is drawing on some of those awesome retro shows for their inspiration when delving into their tabletop games.

It’s very neat seeing how inventive everyone is!

Really missed opportunity for Troy, Phones and Marina cosplay there, loved the show, I always liked to imagine Gerry Anderson stuff took place in the same universe.

Not sure about the other shows, but fairly sure Thunderbirds and Stingray were in the same universe; might be mistaken but Gordon (think that’s what the sub Tbird son was called) served in the navy that Stingray was in (childhood memory may be mistaken, but I could swear he even guest starred in an episode of Stingray).

This really drew the eye too. Only the night before we had watched Aquaman and the bit where Nicole Kidman chucks her spear through the TV when Stingray came on. Thought that was a bit unfair, Stingray is a classic!

of all the hard work of getting the game together is just great and i will have marina song in my head for the rest of the day. but the “simple” use of pipe cleaners as torpedos has taken it to a whole other level.
