This American Starter Force gets you going in the game pretty readily and offers up a seriously hefty bit of armour which is then supported by a pair of Apache helicopters. You've even got some serious support in the form of those artillery pieces raining down fire on the opponent.

American Ground Support

Building on this Starter Set, you've got a whole host of new options to pick up as reinforcements right now. Leading the way we have the Bradley Troop.

Designed to work alongside the heavier armour in your army, these vehicles give you a good way to support the larger tanks and also infantry as they are rolling up the battlefield. Equipped with the latest weapons they were fairly formidable despite their somewhat dinky size.

American Air Support

Moving on from the land-based shenanigans we also have three options for those who want to watch the skies and bring down hell from on high. Battlefront Miniatures now has releases ready for the AH-64 Apache Helicopter PlatoonAV-8 Harrier Attack Flight and A-10 Warthog Fighter Flight.

These are all iconic aircraft from the period, able to dish out some serious punishment. Many wargamers and history buffs will be familiar with the ever-terrifying sound of a Warthog blasting the ground with its payload.

This is some seriously hefty firepower to lever against your opponent and should mean that you retain dominance over the skies as well as the land. It's hard to not like the look of the iconic Apache and Harriers and imagine them drifting through the skies over your rumbling army.

What do you make of these new releases?
