The duo goes over the new units listed in the book and all of the historical details presented throughout which can help you theme your army. In addition to that, they also build a rough and ready 100 point list which is a good mix of infantry, light vehicles and the brand spanking new Leopard!
How would you build your new West German Team Yankee force?

Been playing with forces.team-yankee.com since Saturday’s launch.
I reckon you can get a 100 pt list from one starter box – adding Infantry as an added extra.
As for the options with two starter boxes plus an infantry box (or 2) – very interesting (if not that varied)!
All of their big box starter sets have a 100 point list in them.
And in theory all you’d need to expand or change the list would be to buy one or two additional boxes for the vehicles or troops you’d want to use.
More tanks is always good … so there may be some value to buying multiple starter sets for Team Yankee.
Except you won’t squeeze that many L2A5 tanks at 17 points each!
you probably would have to drop some of the toys from the starter set
Today on John & Justin’s learning to count show ?????
40, no 32, no 21, no 69, in stitches guys.
That aside, the thought of going all “Ride of the Valkyries” with Fallschrimjager??? nice John, very nice!!
Soo many Hueys???
Great looking new armour the hueys are a bit long in the tooth for modern battles I thought they were replaced by blackhawks nowadays.
Not in Germany, my friend 😉
They think about replacing them with NH-90… but these “Lead-Gooses” are not completely delivered by now… the Bundeswehr has not enough money to replace/repair/fly anything they have 😉
one of the side effects of peace?
Without a threat nearby the army is not really important anymore…
true but is the world any safer today?
Great fun watching the John/Justin Banter. Be interesting to see how their list fares against an equivalent pt Soviet Force. I Tried a game with 4x Maxed out Abrams either light support and although doing well initially died under a mass of T72/T64’s
@bobcockayne, as they say, quantity has a quality all of its own. ?
