BeQuest Miniatures are currently working on sculpting up an awesome set of Sci-Fi miniatures for your battles in whatever Grimdark future you end up frequenting. The Star Rogues are going to be coming to Kickstarter later in the year with a distinctly Oldhammer vibe.

These miniatures are all 28mm scale and are based on the artwork by Mustafa Bekir, (spevna_studio). These warriors are all armed to the teeth and look superb, as if they could have come out of that classic Rogue Trader artwork of the early days.

These are going to be great for those looking to add to their Oldhammer collections but they would also be perfect for people playing the likes of Planet 28. That game focuses in very small-scale, narrative games and these miniatures would be great to represent both the "heroes" and the villains.

Star Rogue #2 - BeQuest Miniatures

A full squad has been put together for the Star Rogues and BeQuest, as mentioned earlier, are looking to fund their production through Kickstarter later in the year. It will be neat to see if this campaign focuses on the five that they have sculpted so far or if there are more in the works to help make a classic old-school army.

It would be good to see a fun Star Rogues army which matched up to the one HQ and two Troops vibe of older versions of Warhammer. You could have two sets of Star Rogues troops like these above and then a leader character to force them forward into battle. Maybe I'm just making more work for BeQuest at this point!

More of the Star Rogues are available over on the Hagen-Miniatures webstore HERE if you're interested.

What do you make of these upcoming Star Rogues?
