Bombshell Miniatures has been continuing to release new models from their Cyberpunk collection with trio of characters who I immediately wanted to snap up. These two Cyber Detectives and their companion would be pretty great as characters in roleplaying and skirmish games.

Hopefully, you've now already worked out what film these characters might be taken from. Harold Richards above has the great look of a hardboiled detective from the far future who is slightly outmatched when it comes to his foe (note the broken fingers!). That big coat is awesome and this fellow would be great painted up either in a very poppy scheme or something darker.

The same goes for Tyra Olds here who looks like a slightly suaver version of the Cyber Detective. Moving away from her movie counterpart, she seems like the cool, calm and collected detective who would get the answers out of you with cold hard logic.

Again, she would look great either painted up in a more colourful style or with a bit more grunge in the mix. If you can get that cigarette and its object source lighting on point then you get a thumbs up from me too!

You can also pick up the rather adorable Cyber Owl which might be useful as a companion in your games. I like the idea of someone using this as their means of scouting the streets, flying between massive buildings to find their target.

Options like this might be fun for those who want to do a bit of set dressing. I like the idea of a hyper-futuristic tabletop with gleaming glass and shimmering metal, only for this very natural looking owl to be sat right in the middle of it.

What do you make of this new set of releases?
