Brother Vinni & 1898 Miniaturas Working On New Project

Brother Vinni have mentioned on social media that they are going to be diving into a new project with the folks at 1898 Miniaturas. The theme is the Battle Of Covadonga which saw a clash between Pelagius the Visigoth and the army of the Umayyad Caliphate.

The focus here is going to be on the battle itself and the armies that were involved. The miniatures are going to be based on the artwork by Augusto Ferrer Dalmau and the idea is that you'll be able to get yourself a big army of Visigoths for use in games like SAGA. The first miniature has been previewed for the project based on the sketches above.

You can check out the full piece of artwork by Dalmau HERE and get an idea of the other miniatures that might get added to this project. 1898 Miniaturas have brought some great miniatures to the tabletop and Brother Vinni can sculpt some superb Historical figures. So, this seems like it could turn into quite the fun project.
