FireForge Games has opened up their Kickstarter page for Forgotten World so that you can see how the campaign will take shape ahead of its launch on 20th September.

Forgotten World Starter Set - FireForge Games

The big image that you'll all want to check out is the one that shows off the massive Starter Set that you can snap up for the game. As you can see the set comes with Cavalry, Archers and Footmen for your Human army as well as a rabble of Undead Peasants, Soldiers and Knights for them to fight against.

All of these kits are going to be multi-part plastic with a variety of different pose options available to you. The Kickstarter Exclusive content for this campaign comes in the form of two Commander figures for your armies.

Theodore & Aleister - Fireforge Games

Northmen Realm Warden Theodore is a rather awesome character that might be familiar to a few of you. The second, Aleister The Shadowsoul, is my favourite, however. I love seeing the Undead summoned forth onto the tabletop in their ancient armour and he looks amazing.

Sneak Peeks

As well as what we have seen as part of the Kickstarter they also showed off some more heavily armoured individuals...

Forgotten World Human Leaders - Fireforge Games

...and also a quick look towards more of the Human Rabble that will be defiantly standing up against the horde of undead that ranges across the countryside.

Peasant Rabble - Fireforge Games

I love the idea of creating rules for undead forces where the more they are able to claw down into the mud, the more their ranks rise around them. This used to be a rule that Richter Kruegar's Cursed Company had and I thought it was incredibly evocative.

Will you be jumping in on this campaign?
