Firelock Games Tease Their New Blood & Plunder Frigate

Firelock Games has been teasing the coming of a new ship for Blood & Plunder. This 6th Rate Frigate is going to be releasing in December and looks like another big option for your games, ready to pack with crewmen.
This is no doubt going to be another of their massive resin creations which also uses some wooden and metal elements for the masts and swivel guns. I thought the ship was looking good anyway, but then I saw the back of it and it was taken to another level!
There is a lot of detail packed into the back of this showing this off as a prized ship for whichever country calls it it's own. This would also mean that it would be a pretty prize if your pirates and privateers managed to claim it!
This seafaring element of Blood & Plunder is the side of the game that I am very interested in seeing more of on the tabletop. I love the idea of more seaborne fights rather than just skirmishing on land. That said, battles on the beach do sound fun!

We are still playing a running campaign here.
I will be scooping up a couple of these ships for my fleet.
I’ll have to figure out my color scheme for each now!
Blood and Plunder is one of the best games for table top adventures.

I too am eagerly awaiting ‘Oak and Iron’, and when offered, their new game Blood and Valor a WWI game based on most of the system from Blood and Plunder! OTT was given a playthrough of a couple of rounds at HistoriCon this year.
I know ‘Blood and Valor’ is not Pirates, but it looked really good. The opportunity to play out many different facets of WWI, not just trench warfare.
I bet that would look great with Freeboters Fate
