Footsore Releasing New Persian Chariot For Mortal Gods

A smaller update for Mortal Gods this month from Footsore Miniatures & Games but one that I'm sure a lot of folks will be happy with. The Persians are getting themselves a new Scythed Chariot this weekend.

The kit comes with the thundering horses, the chariot at the back and the two crew. Whilst most chariot crews were (apparently) crewed by just one warrior, there's no reason why you can't have a bit of fun and pop two in as Footsore have here. I think the two look great and give you the impression of a driver and supporting warrior.

I also like that it has that absolutely brutal looking spear that sticks out of the front. I would not want to be the poor soldier that got cut apart by that. I suppose if you got stuck on the end of that you'd then be trampled by horses so your agony wouldn't last long.
A great new quick and deadly option for those wanting to play as the Persians in Mortal Gods.

A brilliant looking chariot.
This is very appealing. Most representations choose to go with four horses and an armoured driver so this makes a change and looks a bit more realistic, despite the huge blade on the front.
