Hero Realms have returned with Hero Realms Journeys, a new six-part expansion designed to enhance and improve the popular deck-building fantasy card game.

Hero Realms is a 2-4 player card game battle, where players draw from a central market containing weapons, spells, champions, and events, building their deck and attempting to reduce their opponent's health to zero.

Previous expansions have included custom starting decks to play as a cleric, fighter, ranger, thief, wizard or dragon, and a campaign deck to complete a co-operative adventure. This latest expansion, Hero Realms Journeys, brings new relics, champions, actions, and quests to the game, along with new races to choose from and a new campaign to play!

In the 12 card Hunters and Travelers packs, players will find new 'Champions' and 'Actions' to add to their market, while the 12 card Conquest and Discovery decks contain new 'Quests' and 'Relics'.

The Ancestry pack brings new races into the game, which can be combined with the current class decks. Players can choose between Dwarf, Elf, Ogre, Orc, or Smallfolk as their race, and combine these with their current class alignment from the previous expansion.

Each race is provided with an 'Ancestry' card which states all modifications, an 'Ancestral Skill' or 'Ability' card, and two deck modification cards.

Finally, the Lost Villiage campaign deck contains over 100 cards, including 12 oversized 'Master' cards, and a full-colour adventure book.

Hero Realms Journeys backers can choose any or all of the expansions, and there's even a backing option to go and hang out with the White Wizard team in Boston for a week! The Kickstarter is already almost four times its original goal, and there are plenty of stretch goals being released along the way.
