Obi-Wan Kenobi Teaser Trailer Gives First Look At New Show

The first few glimpses at the new Star Wars show coming to Disney+, Obi-Wan Kenobi, have started to emerge online. We got treated to a new teaser trailer yesterday which gave folks a slice of what awaits.

The show sees Ewan McGregor return as the famous Star Wars character, reeling from the fall of the Jedi and working out how best to watch over the young Luke Skywalker. The forces of the Sith and The Empire are not sitting idle however as Darth Vader (played by Hayden Christensen) and his Inquisitors are on the trail of any Jedi left remaining in the galaxy.
We're also seeing Joel Edgerton return as Uncle Owen which is a neat addition by the team behind Obi-Wan Kenobi. I'm as interested to see how he gets involved as much as Old Ben Kenobi!
One thing that's nice to see is that the show looks to be going beyond just Tatooine. We've had quite a lot of sand over the last few shows from Disney+!
I am interested to see how this one plays out!

I’m looking forward to this… only the “Limited Series Streaming” bit at the end has me…. well… makes me nervous… sounds like “we’ll stream this only once after that you have to pay extra”…
I think (well, hope) that it just means it’s a one off. One series and done kinda thing.

i think this will be a one off, but have new characters introduced that may get spin off series. Oh BTW FUCK @Ben, He knows what he did.
Limited Series means its one series and done and it’s only 6 episodes bit like Wandavision, Falcon and winter soldier and Hawkeye were all limited series

Filoni likes reusing his animated characters and thus far they’ve been well done… Ahsoka and Cad Bane for example. Looking forwards to seeing this series and the Inquisitors.
Ahsoka had a very smug fight with some jedi hunters in Rebels and Kenobi should have no trouble with them either.
Nice one Obi-Wan the missing year’s may lead to some interesting new story’s an characters.
That John Williams score got me hyped and seeing live action Inquisitors was also nice.
I find that Disney and Star Wars don’t always mix well. I honestly pray this will be good and that they leave all the politics out of it – I earnestly pray that it is what the fans deserve.
What do you mean “the politics”?. What do fans deserve – there’s so many different types of fans with so many different ideas of where Star Wars could go or the stories they want to see.

I am sorry but nothing that you wrote makes any sense to those of us that don’t care about any of BS that you are so passionate about. If that makes you angry then there is nothing i can do about it. @brennon ::eye twitch while reading “Darth Vader”:: That’s not the Sith we are looking for. A slight oversight from canon as even Weird Al points out in song. Its a damn cool trailer and even makes me think about getting the service. Disney ditched their rat for legacy IPs and this one has been a mixed bag for their stewardship.

The Mandalorian and the even worse Book of Boba Fett leave me with no excitement at all for this.
Hope dies last, maybe this one will be good. But to get excited about a trailer – really, guys?!? REALLY? Have you learned nothing in the past twenty years?
Well said, fourtytwo. This trailer is nothing but key-jangling, nostalgia-bait. I’ll wait and see, but i don’t have much hope for the series itself.
Boba Fett was so crap that he got replaced by The Mandolorian mid season … (I still liked the series as it managed to do without those ff-ing Jedi )
It kind of makes me wonder when the Mandalorian will show up in the Kenobi series 😉
Maybe you don’t realize that not all of us share that negativity that you have nor do we have to.
You assume quite a lot from what little is said. And it seems there is a pattern of you jumping to negative conclusions at some off-hand remarks. That’s something you don’t appear to realize.
I didn’t want to like it but then they have the audacity to drop duel of the fates and I was like…oh go on then.
