Oathsworn Tease Their New Burrows & Badgers Kickstarter!

Oathsworn Miniatures has teased the date for their new Burrows & Badgers Kickstarter which is looking to introduce a whole host of new critters into the mix, both large and small!
The Kickstarter will be landing towards the tail end of October and be a very quick one as you'll have noted above. The key thing here is the addition of lots of big models like the two Hounds and the massive Red Kite which I am personally excited about most. Also as you'll see there is a plethora of additional miniatures too armed with an array of different weapons.
Over on Facebook, Oathsworn also talked with the community about adding in some more models to the campaign and it was a close run thing between the Hare Mage and a Mole with Blunderbuss.
Oathsworn is, therefore, getting stuck back into the sculpting to see if they can make it a reality. There is a chance that we might get both of these models so cross your fingers! I love the idea of a Mole popping up on the battlefield and firing off his blunderbuss before getting knocked unceremoniously back down the hole he came from.
The Hare Mage is going to be a frightening prospect as soon we'll have more of those skilful buggers hitting the tabletop!

Fabulous looking animals Ben will be chomping at the bit to add them to his game forces.

This will be Oathsworn’s 15th Kickstarter. Time flies! May not go all in, but will have to continue my streak of backing them.
I’ve been looking forward to these being released unto the world.
All of them look fantastic and very alive with character.
Although I’ve taken an oath and sworn not to again get carried away with backing too many Kickstarters, I do think that I’ll be jumping into backing this one.

One of the resident facial fur-bearing Beasts going on about furry minis? Never going to happen. Oh wait, its pint sized protagonists with sculpted hair texture. Yep, between dwarves (of any name) and Burrows&Badgers we know Ben will have a soft spot for them.
Photography leaves something to be desired. Like focus. Why is the hare mage frightening? His/her hare-raising spell ability? Their rabbit spell casting?
The miniatures were blurred for a reason so they could keep the models secret ahead of the Kickstarter launch. I’m sure they will reveal all in time.
Also, Hares are bloody deadly in the game – very skilled individuals who make for dangerous opponents. Plus, people will start to be able to run entire Hare warbands soon enough!
@blaeyn , as Ben says, I blurred the pic deliberately – I wasn’t really thinking about it appearing here, it was just meant to be a quick teaser for the B&B Facebook Group really! I’ll get some better pics taken for OTT soon…
And yep, hares are great fighters… not sure how well a hare spellcaster will do though. Feels like a waste of the fighty potential to me; almost as bad as a short-sighted mole with a gun! Still, both sculpts are coming on well. 🙂
