Para Bellum Wargames Get Ready To Ship Out Conquest

The team at Para Bellum Wargames, after a marathon development period, are now releasing Conquest into the wild. They wanted to share some images of all the big Core Boxes and more, ready to go!

As we saw at the UK Games Expo this year, a lot of effort has been going into making sure that Conquest is the best game it can be. Not only are the rules being tweaked and changed up for each force to make sure they play well, but the armies themselves are big, chunky and brutal too.
Despite some delays in the project, it is now hitting tabletops very soon and we're excited to see the reception for the game. Warren has been rather taken by the game, falling in love with the Hundred Kingdoms, clad in their heavy armour with their Fantasy/Medieval look.
Personally, I think I'd go for the clones of The Spires. I think they have a warped and weird alien feel to them that is different from many other games. Even if I didn't get a chance to build an army for the game I'd be happy to paint a few of their archers.
In the spirit of full disclosure, we are selling their range over at the OnTableTop Store so make of that what you will, but we're very excited to see how Para Bellum's game is received.

Yep, first game in a while that might be able to handle my model dropping syndrome lol
An additional benefit that I see also with the bulkier models is that I’m looking at them and can actually work out what to paint lol
So tempted by the starter box, the value looks insane.
A bit off topic but which audio book if any will people be listening too while building this set. Might try Joe Abercrombie myself.

Hurt while stock lasts?
I’ve been on the fence for a good long while about this game. I really like what I’ve seen of the setting and artwork, and the game looks like a lot of fun too. I’m really not keen on the 38mm scale though. Both because it’s incompatible with other minis and terrain I have and because I think it makes the models harder to paint well. If I was to dive in, the Spire faction is the one I’d go for as they look brilliant and interresting. For the moment though, I continue to resist…
They can accidently ship those pallets to me 😉

I don’t know if this is the right place to comment about it, but i have found that it is completely impossible to find the game in Spain… literally no stores are bringing it, although I have asked personally and even mentioned the distributor (Heo Spain) every seller here in Spain answers more or less that “althought we know it exist, we are not Planning to add conquest to our line of products” What’s going on?
