Pendraken Miniatures has been showing off some early looks at their expanded and updated 10mm Russo-Japanese range. The new collection is an overhaul of the look and feel of the range and offers up a fascinating collection for both sides of the conflict.

This collection was actually commissioned by a customer but is going to be available for general release in the near future. The team have aimed to create a pretty diverse range of miniatures with a lot of infantry already in the mix alongside command elements.

According to Pendraken over on their forums, the vast majority of the collection has been finished but there are still a few little additional pieces needed. A few extra big guns should help to round out the factions and give you a whole host of fun miniatures to play with.

This isn't by any means all of the elements available for each force. What I'm showing here is just a snapshot and if you'd like to see more then make sure to head on over to the forums! I like that, despite the scale, you can tell the difference between the Russian and Japanese forces at a glance thanks to their kit and hats mostly!

In addition to the Russians and the Japanese, there was also an additional kit that popped up. So, you're going to be able to get your hands on some Chinese Civilians that have been caught in the fighting as well.

Another thing that Pendraken wanted to point out is that whilst the units here are shown with flags, these were just for the customer who commissioned the collection. The production versions of these miniatures will come with bare poles and flag designs will be created to use with them later on down the line.
