The Perry Twins Release New Napoleonic French Light Infantry

Perry Miniatures has released a new set of metal French Light Infantry for those diving into some Napoleonics on the tabletop. This helps build on their already extensive collection of French troops battling under Napoleon.

There are a variety of new sets for you to pick up but I've just snapped up my favourites for this particular article. I really like this command set, especially the fellow on the far right who is calling his soldiers forward into the breach.

The range of sets from the Perry twins includes the Light Infantry Chasseurs and the Light Infantry Voltigeurs alongside the Light Infantry Carabiniers too. All of them can be seen in the New Releases section of their website HERE.

Much like Gerry, I do like the Napoleonic era but it's all about finding a game that suits what I want to do with it. I am also constantly blown away by the amount of detail folks work into their miniatures at 28mm. It must take an age to get everything ready for the tabletop.
If you're a big fan of the French during this period of history then you now have all manner of new miniatures to snap up and add to your collection!

Many years ago my brother tried to get me into collecting Historics – I think its because he was obsessed with Sean Bean’s Sharpe.
Not really my bag this, I prefer my miniatures to be daft!
My brother has an obsession with the hats; the bigger the hats the more he likes the historic period! He is a Historian, though, so he might be biased. 😛

Some fantastic sculpting from the Perry’s and equally good painting from Chris Adcock.
I’ll certianly be picking up some of these, the command in paticular is characterful.
