Perry Miniatures are bringing more rather fantastic looking plastic miniatures to Salute this year. This time around it is a set of mounted Line Chasseurs a Cheval.

Going into more detail about the kit on Facebook they said...

"The figures in this box will represent Line Chasseurs a Cheval from 1808-15. Four uniform variants are covered; campaign and full dress for 1808-12 and campaign and full dress for 1812-15. During this period the coat changed from the single breasted Kinski coat to the lapelled Spencer coat around 1812 although the latter probably took a while to replace the former.

Both types are presented in this set, along with elite company uniforms. The figures in the Kinski coat can also be used as Hussars in campaign dress. As you can see there are multiple arm poses and many headgear variants."

They certainly have all of the detail that you'd expect from Perry Miniatures sculpts and appear to cater to those who want to play through multiple periods during this time in History AND in various theatres too.

For those interested, they also have the first sprue through showing off how some of the components look when they come out of the box.

The pomp and ceremony of Napoleonic soldering is certainly appealing. It does bring forth a lot of interesting ideas for painting and tests you to not only keep things looking uniform but also inject personality into these soldiers too.
