Perry Miniatures are now taking pre-orders for their new 28mm plastic Napoleonic Duchy Of Warsaw Infantry for the period 1807-1814. They come in two flavours and there is a rather nice bundle offer you can also pick up.

Duchy Of Warsaw Infantry Battalion // Perry Miniatures

The first of the sets that you can pick up is for forty-four miniatures covering the Duchy Of Warsaw Infantry Battalion. This set allows you to build Fusiliers, Grenadiers, Voltigeurs and a command section which can all be posed in marching and attacking poses. Breaking it down, you get the thirty-six figures making up the battalion with six Grenadiers and six Voltigeurs and the rest being Fusiliers and command figures. There are also eight flank company figures in the set.

The second of the sets is the Duchy Of Warsaw Elite Companies.

This has been designed for skirmish-level units. They can be built into Elite Companies of Voltigeurs and Grenadiers plus a command group. This allows you to make your plucky Voltigeurs who would run ahead of the line and do some skirmish duty, harassing the enemy. Grenadiers could then fold in behind them as backup when needed.

I think, from the response on social media and here OnTableTop, this has been a rather sought-after expansion to the Napoleonic range by Perry Miniatures. The figures are certainly gorgeous but then you wouldn't expect anything less from the folks at Perry Miniatures. I'm sure they will find their way into all manner of different collections in the coming months.
