About the Project

I decided this year would be a year of fantasy. I have a few Age of Sigmar minis and these will be my starting point to create my own little world using the Dragon Rampant ruleset.

I have not had much hobby time in the last couple of months due to work and family commitments but have finally finished these.

The next tribe. The Tsus

The Tsus are cannibals and lust for human flesh. The Khalisan conquered them early in their expansion and now use them as their attack dogs. The Tsus that have eaten too much flesh go mad but gain abnormal strength so the Khalisan armour them up to lead the assault.

I’ve had these Khorne minis hanging around for ages so thought they would make an ideal addition to the maurading tribes. I want them to look different but retain some links to the Khalisan. I’m going to do this by keeping the brass theme in the armour indicating that the Khalisan provide it.

I finally finished them. I used a little Nihilake Oxide on the bronze to weather it up a bit. I wanted a desert base so used a base of Leather Brown followed by Armageddon Dunes. This was washed with Stronge Tone and dry brushed with Iyanden Darksun and Wool.

After the shading wash I relayered the base coat colours over the top. I used a little Mithril Silver to highlight the Leadbelcher in places and mixed the Dark Reaper with Army Painter Bondi Blue to highlight the skin. Then a little Strong Tone over the brass and watered down Dark Tone over the skin to tie it all altogether.
