I decided to pick up Blood and Valor as I already have a good size collection of WW1 miniatures from playing Games Workshops old system. The Great War was a skin if Warhammer but without the armour saves. I liked this system despite its clunkyness for its scenarios and the great campaign theatres in the over the top supplement. The game had a lot if limitations though. Blood and Valor bring skirmish relies on smaller units and great force lists for battlegrounds beyond the western front. I’m designing 150 and 250 point forces for the British and Germans starting with 1914 forces. My old minis may need a repair and rebasing.
