About the Project

I've been looking for an Asian Sci-Fi game set in a futuristic city that involves gangs, corrupt politician's and police, spies both industrial and national, crime syndicates, corporations, hackers, mercs and just general scum. I haven't really found anything that's close to what I want, though Reality's Edge did come close.

Some AI inspiration

I used an app called Dream, and you can load in photographs to help the AI generate what you want. So I used some images I’d taken at night on my last trip to China. Like Japan Chinese cities are lit up at night with neon signs and it always reminds me of futuristic dystopian city from films like Bladerunner.

The aim of this project is to combine my interest in writing, Asia, science fiction and gaming.

I’ve used some AI software to generate some images to inspire the project. So this project will contain background information, my attempts at writing some game rules, terrain building and miniatures. I’ll include ranges to find suitable minis I plan to use along with some kit bashing.

The main plan is to write the game rules and background for the city Shanghai. Once that’s done I want to also do some background for Tokyo which is now ruled by a Samurai influenced Yakuza clan.
