Soulbound Starter Set - Cubicle 7

Age Of Sigmar: Soulbound Starter Set // Cubicle 7

The Warhammer Age Of Sigmar: Soulbound Starter Set comes with all the bits and bobs that you need to get started in this roleplaying game set within the Mortal Realms. You'll take on the role of the Soulbound who have been chosen to undertake perilous quests in order to save the peoples of the realm. Bound together by destiny, this should allow you to dive right in and get playing quickly.

Soulbound Starter Set Contents - Cubicle 7

Age Of Sigmar: Soulbound Starter Set Contents // Cubicle 7

Inside this set, you're going to get five pre-generated characters who each have their own goals, backgrounds and connections which link them together with the world and the rest of the Soulbound. I found these really good in the Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play Starter Set as they listed out everything of importance plus they made it easy to slip into roleplaying each hero.

These characters can then get started in the Faltering Light adventure where the heroes are heading into the ancient Agloraxian Ruins beneath the city of Brightspear. The adventure will teach you how to play as you go.

This is then supported by the Brightspear City Guide which goes into more detail about the wonderful locations, unique characters, story hooks and more that you can weave into that introductory adventure. You'll also find eight additional adventures which you can play after you're finished with Faltering Light.

Soulbound Starter Set Dice - Cubicle 7

Age Of Sigmar: Soulbound Starter Set Dice // Cubicle 7

As with the Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play Starter Set that I have mentioned before, this is a great set for getting started. I don't think there's many other starter sets out there which are packed with as much content as this. The pre-generated characters are easily transferable into a larger campaign and there are sessions and sessions worth of content beyond just that initial adventure.

In addition to all the booklets, you'll also find a bunch of reference sheets, maps (yay!), tokens and the eight dice that you can see above from Q-Workshop. There is a lot to get excited about with this, especially once it delivers next year.

Are you going to be giving this a go?
