Modiphius have been working with the folks behind DUST Tactics and DUST Warfare to bring you a whole new way of interacting with this Weird World War setting. Check out some more details about DUST Adventures below...

DUST Adventures will allow you to begin role-playing in the world of DUST creating characters from the Allies, the SSU and many of the independent factions.

From the press release...

"The campaigns will also feature DUST Tactics and DUST Warfare missions allowing fans of the miniatures games and role players alike to enjoy the DUST universe in new ways. The system being written for DUST Adventures draws heavily on the elegant systems of DUST Tactics, uses the same familiar dice, and aims to easily bring characters from DUST Tactics in to the role-playing game or role-playing characters in to your DUST Tactics or Warfare games."

Now if that doesn't make this ten times cooler I don't know what does? The DUST universe has always been an interesting one and I like their take on the alternate history of the 20th Century. If you want some inspiration concerning characters then see what you think of the artwork...

...and I bet that's just scratching the surface of what you can get up to in this game. I'm a big fan of role-playing games based around bigger properties like this as it allows you to get invested in the world without a massive cash injection. It also means you can take heroes and villains from the pages a story and then slowly build them up into bigger campaigns and battles.
