Free League Publishing's new Kickstarter for the hit Swedish Fantasy roleplaying game, Drakar och Demoner is going to be launching on 30th August. Next week can't come soon enough for this roleplaying game that is also going to be getting its first release in English as Dragonbane!

The Kickstarter is going to focus on releasing the two new rulebooks that will give you everything that you need to dive into when it comes to playing out your games of Dragonbane. You've got all of your typical Fantasy races and clashes to choose from like Elves, Dwarves and Humans but you've also got the likes of the Mallard and the Wolfkin. I can see a lot of folks playing as them!

The game designer for Dragonbane/Drakar och Demoner comes from Tomas Härenstam and the art within is by the fantastic Johan Egerkrans. Additional fiction writing for the setting comes from the author, Niklas Natt och Dag.

As a bonus bit of information, folks are going to be able to download a Quickstart Guide when the Kickstarter launches next week. This will be free and will include an introductory adventure for you to play through and five pre-generated characters for you to choose from. A good way to try before you pledge.
