If I needed some 40K afv’s would probably prefer the Battlebuild over GW
Looks good and priced about the same as a Rhino from Wayland afaik
The ” Hammer of Iron” heavy tank is even better imho and would not mind some of those beauts.
Some nice terrain pices too! 😀
Darrel I will use it as a chimera in my IG however it has potential for a demolisher like tank.
Nice looking model, but more ‘chunky’ looking than the GW small tanks, it looks more like it woulld survive a battle than your average chimera thats for sure.
Worth pointing out that anyone new to resin should be careful assembling something like this, the parts tend to have a chunk of resin that needs to be removed on them (part of the casting process) , and whether you sand or saw it off, the dust is harmful so wear masks or at least do the cutting outside.
Thats not just this, its the same for all resin stuff.
IRRC the Death Korps of Krieg use a Siegfried light tank due to regular leman russ tanks being in short supply to them- something to do with the administrum wanting them to clone more workers for their own factories instead or some other similar reason- and I’m thinking these could be used as chimeras or rhinos under a similar justification eg they’re cheaper or the planet your guard come from had a lot of tanks from civil/house wars outside imperial authority.
nice peace i would use it as russian or chinese modern warfare vechile
Looks like a nice Chimera alternative.
If you are looking for a Leman Russ alternative, have a look at the Mortian Battle Tank at http://www.heavy-support.com. I have two of these and they are awesome!
I was surprised to see this model. A blatant rip of the Imperial Mecharius from Forge World. But smaller. Indeed a nice kit. This may be on my to buy list pretty soon.
Yes it’s quite similiar to the Macharius.
Fun Fact: Its started off because some guy did not like the Style of Leman Russ tanks for his Death Korps Regiment, so he designed his own tank, to fit his style.
Re: Imperial Mecharius from Forge World
Am seeing a heavy tank which looks like the Bear in as much as it has tracks and a turret.
The Bear looks like it is based on the M113 to me.
its a tank surely thats a must for you john.also just wondering if you like games like call of duty as theres a free online game called world of tanks which is quite good.
Red flag…Yellow gold star. Or blue banner white star (My favorite)
any chance we can see it next to a rhino and or chimera?
i’m with veneficus. a comparison between these vehicles would have been nice to see.
I like the look of that vehicle, given a chance I think I would not replace, but add one to my existing IG army…
so much versitility I love it! Break out the magnets people! I like it as it reminds me of the old Rhino without being terrible looking 8)
