I really like the Morats, hey are exactly how I envisioned a military race should be, cold and professional in their duty, but what astonished me in their background is that there are consciousness objectors, that really fleshes out their background and make the race even more believable, sure they are a warriors race, but they are still individuals.
Shasvastii fight vigorously for the Morats place, as my favoured for the combined army, I love how alien their mindset and psychology are and I really love their models, but Morats have that something extra.
I cannot agree more. I think it is the overt and totally alien nature of the models that make up the Combined Army that is the biggest attraction for me. The Morats are great, lets face it….who cannot like great big angry space apes! I am looking at building a 300pt list around a Yaogat strike team. While I love the quality of the scultping and casting from Corvus Belli, the only thing that puts me off are some of the actual poses are…..just weird. That is a love/ hate thing with many people, many Infinity models are sculpted in mid action poses, some people like that others do not.
