Forge World Patch You Up With New Apothecaries!

Even a Space Marine needs to get patched up once in a while (or very often if my Deathwatch Role-playing group is around) so check out these Apothecaries from Forge World!
Shows that even a medic in the 41st Millennium can be bad ass. Certainly looks like he can handle himself and I love the amount of detail adorned across their armour. Sets him apart from the rest of a command group and ready to wade into the fire fight to drag out a downed marine.
But if you're not interested in an Apothecary how about a big tank?
This is the Deimos Pattern Predator Executioner. A pretty beastly tank with plenty of guns for smashing forwards into the enemy lines. You can check out the rules for this monster of a tank here.

This is so much better than the standard apothecary miniature. I may have to pick one up for the new army I’m working on.

In my opinion this is were Forge World is at its best. Providing better looking alternatives to normal GW models. These Apothecaries have plenty of nice detail.
It’s what makes FW so great, they seem to make the things we want to see or things we didn’t expect, which also look wicked too.
I think the apothecaries need a helper as in a sexy sisters of battle nurse 😛

They should make some multi-pose versions of sisters of battle. You know they’ll look awesome. 🙂

I don’t like the crusader one at all. And both have strange optics. Look like badly patched…
I’m quite disappointed!
Now pre-Heresy armies can patch up their wounded without conversions that might look out of place with older armour marks…while the extra bits do look a bit ‘tacked-on’ without much thought to integrating them I think they still look good. I have a soft spot especially for that Imperial medical symbol on the shoulder.
Am I the only one who is no longer jaded by Forgeworld prices due to Finecast prices? Probably a bad thing…
I still want these, I see the optics as more of an early field modification than a helm variant. Like they added it to early mks as a bolt-on. Not becoming a standard until mkVII armour.
The excuses com up with to validate the things we like eh?
