Warlord Games has announced that the Maya are making their way to Warlords Of Erehwon and Mythic Americas soon! Leading the way is the towering and terrifying Camazotz who dominates this 28mm Fantasy wargame.

The sinister bat-god, Zotzilaha Chimalman and the Lords of Death is ready to dominate the battlefield. The miniature itself is huge (as you can see by the Priestess next to it!) and stands pretty much as tall as the Aztec's Quetzalcoatl.

One of the nice things about Mythic Americas is that it explores the folklore, legends and myths of an entirely different part of the world. You get to explore a Fantasy wargame featuring a lot of fantastic creatures that you've probably not seen before.

As well as the mighty new monster, the Mythic Americas range is also going to get a bunch of regular troops who fight under its gaze. A number of these releases have been teased including the  Almehenob Nobles, Tikal Archers and the Calakmal Warriors.

The elite forces of the Maya are something to be reckoned with when it comes to fighting out your Mythic Americas battles. There are also awesome Priestesses and even Werejaguar Warriors waiting in the wings!

Whilst we've talked about Mythic Americas being a good Fantasy wargame, you can also play it as a Historical one too. Just remove the strange creatures and you're pretty much good to go.
