Classic video game series Tomb Raider has come to the tabletop in the form of Tomb Raider: Legends The Board Game from Square Enix.
I'm sure your first thought was, "Who gets to play Lara?", well worry not! Everyone gets to play a different Lara, each trying to make it out of the tomb with the artefact first.

I have played all of the Tomb Raider games on console of PC over the years and do enjoy them.
Not sure this is the sort of game I’d play and I think the 3-4 player restriction is a problem.
Personally I think they should have gone for a solo game as playing different incarnations of Lara seems a bit weird.
Given the restrictions of 3-4 players and what appears to be limited replay value, I’m unlikely to buy it…
Original Lara is best Lara.

I know this site doesn’t cover video games, but I’d like to see a TR game where modern (perpetually traumatized) meets one of her earlier versions and they have an adventure together.
I enjoy the films but think I will give this one a miss, there are better games out there for either racing to a goal or battling your apponents.
