The Sultanate Come To Armoured Clash With Plenty Of Portals!
October 28, 2025 by brennon
A big new reveal from Warcradle Studios this week as they introduced the coming of the Sultanate to their 10mm miniature wargame, Armoured Clash. A brand new Faction Battlegroup is on the way, plus an Introductory Set and more.
Sultanate Faction Battlegroup // Armoured Clash
Kicking things off, we have the absolutely packed Sultanate Faction Battlegroup, which contains everything you need to start playing your games as the Sultanate in your games of Armoured Clash. You have some excellent, unique vehicles as well as fascinating troops that really showcase the aesthetic of the Sultanate.
Janissaries (Officer) // Armoured Clash
Starting with the infantry, you've got the likes of the Janissaries with their impressive hats, a stalwart core of your army that can lay down a fearsome volley using their Sarsilmaz rifles. If that wasn't cool enough, you've also got the impressive Persian Immortals who hark back to the deep lore behind the Sultanate.
Persian Immortals // Armoured Clash
There are also even more mysterious troops for you to call on with the addition of the Cor Caroli Nyx. They bring their deadly khopesh to the fighting and can dispatch both tanks and vehicles with ease, making them a great choice when building a Sultanate force.
Cor Caroli Nyx // Armoured Clash
It wouldn't be the resplendent ranks of the Sultanate without some cavalry and you get plenty with the addition of the Macedonian Companions too. They are going to be perfect for leading the charge on the back of their mechanical steeds.

If you'd prefer something a bit whackier, then you also have the excellent Sipahi Monowheels, which can be used alongside the Companions to plunge deep into the heart of the enemy and secure objectives before they know what has hit them! Super cool designs.
Sipahi Monowheels // Armoured Clash
This also then brings me on to the impressive vehicles that the Sultanate have access to now they are taking to the battlefield of Armoured Clash. For example, you have the ultra Sci-Fi Ferik Command Skiffs, which will be hovering over the battlefield, taking control of the action whilst blowing away enemies with high-tech weaponry.
Ferik Command Skiff // Armoured Clash
There is a good mixture of different designs for you to choose from, allowing you to customise your force with the weapons that you need for the threats that you'll be facing on the tabletop. All of this in plastic, so you can very quickly build your armies without any fuss.
Apophis Rotor Automata // Armoured Clash
More traditional-looking tanks are also in the mix for the Sultanate, even if they are still hovering around the battlefield. You have to show off if you're making your vehicles this cool. There are many, many more options available for the different vehicles in the release set, which you can see over on the blog HERE.
Pillar of Light Hover Tanks // Armoured Clash
Another big boost for this set is that, yes, you will be getting plenty of Portal Markers in the set for your army to use when taking control of the battlefield. In a neat move from Warcradle, these are now available in transparent plastic rather than resin!

Take To The Skies
Sticking with the miniatures, you can also get the Sultanate's aircraft, the impressive Sabiha Fighter.
Sabiha Fighter // Armoured Clash
Designed by some of the greatest scientific minds that money can buy, the Sabiha has unmatched speed and Akrep cannons, which can shred enemy tanks or turn infantry into mulch. A squadron of these fighters can utterly brutalise the enemy with the right general utilising them.
Sultanate Command & Conquest Deck
Last but not least, you will also be able to get your themed Sultanate Command & Conquest Deck.
Sultanate Command & Conquest Deck // Armoured Clash
As with the other Command & Conquest Decks, this allows you to claim Conquests and score your Victory Points. It also allows you to issue your Commands, which could get you out of tight spaces when used wisely!
All of these miniatures will be making their way to the tabletop in December this year, so you've not got long to wait before you can dive in and get your Sultanate fix.
Start preparing your paint schemes!

The Ferik Command Skiff looks cool. But I already have two unbuild factions XD
I was really excited for these guys, and while I’m digging the infantry and cavalry, the tanks leave a lot to be desired.
Certainly feel like a bit of a downgrade from the spectacular lineup the Alliance has.
These are great and will pick up the flyer but torn between enlightened or Latin alliance right now
Is it just me or are you getting HeMan vibes from the Skiff
Must admit that basically the whole Armoured Clash game and miniatures is more of an modern update to the old GW “Epic” than the current small scale stuff from GW. The bright colours harken back to the 90s paintjobs, the different faction rules and equipment etc. If I was to steer anyone who was after small scale sci fi/fantasy, easily obtainable (and a slight hope in finding other players), then Armoured Clash would be the way to go 🙂
Decent looking set. I like the design and style of the vehicles, especially jabbas sail barge.
