John talks us through the new Starter Sets and what's on offer plus the content of the Expansion Packs. We also talk about the mechanics of the game and how interesting it looks as a concept! Plus, with the game being a cheap entry point into building and painting Gundam miniatures, could this be the way that Bandai crack into the wargaming scene properly?

I need to learn more about Gundams. The game makes me more curious though
I have one word for you @smithsco : GUNDAM! If you haven’t watched the series (there’s a few, the oldest ones are the best, in my opinion), this is a massive release. GUNDAM!!!
yeah same here.
I wouldn’t know what a single one of them is, but a new miniatures game that doesn’t use D6’s ?
How dare they!
I’m sure John could give us all a proper primer at some point
OK, I have to say: GUNDAM!!! I will be getting these for sure. Love the scale. I have some alternate rulesets that will work if I’m not into the game – it’s all about that GUNDAM!!!
Friday! Gundam! K’Pla!
The Japanese prices for Gundam Assemble seems reasonable enough, I hope it stays that way when it comes UK-wards because from their intro vid it seems quite fun.
Yeah if we get the similar pricing then I will be very happy for folks diving in. Nice, affordable wargaming should be the norm.
Can’t get excited about gundam, but not into battletech either. It seemed like too much paperwork and I got my fill of tracking damage to weapons with Silent Death by ICE (that’s Iron Crown Enterprises, nothing to do with deporting people).
Head canon, yes this is how things must be. It is realization of the weapons request of Gunther Hermann for a skull gun. Deus Ex references are great. Now that I’ve mentioned it someone will download it.
Yay weekender time folk’s🎉🎊🎉👍
Great show guy’s 👍
Gundam Assemble looks like it could be a fun side game. I ma however *deeply* concerned for my bank balance when it comes to the various expansion packs.
Yeah I sense it’s going to be the bane of many people’s wallets
The Warcrow Dwarves look good. For Infinity they also have a nice split of female and male.
I am very interested in the Gundam game, I just worry about the availability of the sets.
I haven’t checked how large the board is but I did see that the board in the deluxe set is bigger, as it is 5vs5 and the other box is 3vs3.
As far as I have seen all models start on the board. They will active when you come to their position on the time line.
Noble team best team.
Yeah the Warcrow Dwarves are something pretty awesome for the game
Did Gerry say that Captain Bucky O’Hare is in the Halo game? That’s an unexpected crossover.
Gotta make space for the big green space rabbit
Never really been a gundam fan, but the game interested me when announced and watching the full play through it seems interesting. Prices even allowing an uplift seem great.
Yeah I don’t have any real interest in the anime/Gundam/Gunpla but if the gameplay is fun I’ll give it a shot.
