I do like that, the necromunda/deadzone stuff especially. Setting its dimensions to match the deadzone terrain(which is I think itself based on the bulkhead sizes from the old necromunda box) is a bit of genius to be honest,

Oh lordy! The possibilities with this stuff are nearly endless! The Necromunda table I could build with that fortification kit makes me positively weak at the knees to even think of.

Is 3″ the new standard? I need to look at some of the more details pieces to see if I can work them in with Mantic’s terrain.
Lloyd still looks odd, but not as odd as in the Blitz vid. I really like the look concept and look of this terrain set. Storage is an issue around my place and this might be a great solution. Yes, I really like it.

I love that he referenced Necromunda. A completely dead game as far as GW is concerned but something that clearly resonates with the community still and is still popular among fanatics like myself. I would love this stuff for my Necromunda gaming, and I wish it had existed 20 years ago!

MDF terrain has been a godsend for me, although I generally go prepainted for convenience, I do partake of the blank stuff for financial as well as personalisation reasons on centrepiece type bits.

really love the idea of it just slotting together and not needing glue! Totally with Warren on the “Set down” simple approach and stroke of genius making it 3″ cubes to fit with Infinity, 40k and others like deadzone – some similar great value Africa /Adobe buildings as well as that fantastic Orky stuff – like the Sci-Fi totally usable across a load of periods/settings as mentioned in some of the other vids.

That terrain looks great. I created an Ork fort using cut up pieces of plastic sprue and plasti- card with sand added for rust effect. worked really well but bloody time consuming (not expensive except for the vast amount of plastic cement I used). MDF looks a lot easier indeed and could be painted to match my existing fort.

Ed’s terrain is awesome. Bought 5 Eldar pieces from Ed at Penkridge Wargames earlier in the year and my club loves it. Even has the added bonus of smelling like smoked salmon when building it! lol
