Ben’s Christmas Time Wish List

Keeping up with the wish lists for this year's Christmas season there are a few things I'm hoping that Santa Claus drops into my stocking over this winter period. The first of these is something that I've been wanting for a while and would allow me to dive back into the Old World of Warhammer.

Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play 4th Edition

Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play - Cubicle 7

Cubicle 7 has gone back to what made 2nd Edition one of the best role-playing games I've played. According to reviews, we're back to terrible wounds, a grim and perilous world and of course those careers which focus in on the poor normal folk who had to try and survive in this terrifying Fantasy world.

I would love to get my hands on this new book so that I could plan out a whole new set of adventures on the tabletop with my friends.

Mouse Nun

Mouse Nun - Oathsworn Miniatures

A small request next to Santa. I need one more miniature to complete my warband themed after Robin Hood and his Merry Mice. This Mouse Nun is one of my favourite miniatures from the collection but I've never got round to picking her up.

Seeing the painted version here by Jo of Oathsworn Miniatures makes me want her all the more! I have made my 'Maid Marian' a little bit of a healer but with a good dose of dangerous surprises for when things get a bit hairy for her and the fellow miscreants.

Barenpark

Barenpark - Lookout SPIELE

Last but not least, I had to throw a board game onto the list. Barenpark is one of those games which always seems to slip away from me. I saw a review of it from Shut Up & Sit Down a while back and immediately added that to my 'must buy' list. Just, with funds and lots of other things happening in my life I never got round to snaffling up the game.

This game combines two of my favourite things, tile-laying gameplay and euro-mechanics alongside...you guessed it, bears.

That's it for my list. I hope all of you got something awesome and nerdy for Christmas that you'll be playing for years to come!

What did you ask for from Santa?

"...this game combines two of my favourite things, tile-laying gameplay and euro-mechanics alongside...you guessed it, bears!"
