Libellud has teased that a new version of their masterful board game, Mysterium, is making its way to the tabletop later this year. More sleuthing is needed as you head to Mysterium Park.

Mysterium Park -

Coming at the end of 2020, this new board game will take elements from the fantastic Mysterium and give them a bit of a tweak. In 'Park', the former director of the circus has vanished and the investigation has turned up nothing. Weird things have been happening and as psychics, you're looking to go and find out what the ghost of the carnival has to tell you. The truth will be revealed through beautiful artwork no doubt as it was in the original!

If you're fascinated but not aware of the original Mysterium then you're in for a treat. Using cues from games like Dixit, one player takes on the role of The Ghost who shares information with the other players via the use of cards covered in intriguing artwork. Between them, the players have to deduce the meaning of the different cards they are offered to find weapons of murder, locations and the culprit at the end of the investigation.

The game is a lot of fun and often as funny as it is frustrating (in the best possible way). I am very interested to see what this new version of the game offers.

Have you played Mysterium?
