Explore A Mythical Island In Catch Up Games’ Rivages

Catch Up Games has announced a new game of tabletop exploration. Rivages will be coming out later this year as you explore the legendary island of Myr and see if you can uncover its secrets.

During games of Rivages, each player will get their own map which is divided up into several coloured areas. Each turn, you will be striking out symbols from the map based on cards in your hands. As you explore different areas you will achieve different goals that will allow you to loot treasure and progress up the wisdom tree that offers up parchments that help you win the game!

You can move from boat to boat and therefore access more islands that will give you more opportunities to explore the world. The person with the most parchments at the end of the game will be the winner.
I like the sound of this from an initial peek at the game and its mechanics. It seems quick and easy to play with a thirty-minute runtime at its maximum. This could be a fun one to have in the back pocket when you're looking for an easy game to play in between larger games.
