We have just passed Spooky Season, on to Festive Season and we are already hearing about the release of tabletop games - ready for Valentine’s Day (or Sexy Season if we are going to stick to a theme).

Patchwork Valentine's Edition // Asmodee

Asmodee have announced that Patchwork, the classic grid-covering quilt-building aesthetic and calming game is getting a sexy new outfit for Valentine’s Day. Instead of the usual quilt to construct, players will be provided with a box of chocolates to design and decorate in Patchwork: Valentine's Edition.

Board Layout // Patchwork Valentine's Edition

Patchwork is designed for two players, and doesn’t take too much time to play through - roughly about half an hour. It is quite a calming experience, certainly no backstabbing mechanics and would be perfect for a couple to sit down and feel the theme of Valentine’s Day on the tabletop.

The upcoming Valentine’s Day title will be heading to retail on January 18th 2022, for players to pick up and construct their own box of chocolates - as opposed to eating a whole bunch of them!

What tabletop games would you recommend for couples on Valentine’s Day?
