If you are new to Summoner Wars and you are curious about these interesting creatures and how they incorporate into a game, as a player, you will be given the power to summon your very own army, in a tactical card battle clashing into a fantasy warzone.

You and one other player will battle-head-to-head utilising your units to engage in spell-casting, ability focussed engagement.

But freshly making their way onto the table are the Savanna Elves and they are ready to take nature in their own hands to proclaim victory over the planet of Itharia.

And what would the Savanna Elves be without an elf? The mystical summoner unit - Abua Shi has come prepared with a ranged attack to conquer all. Giving players a steady defensive yet tactically offensive summoner unit. This character may have a low health life of 10, but their Spirit Bond ability allows boosts of many types to help your army as a whole.

This character's epic event is certainly not one to be ignored either, providing a faction-wide strength boost giving savage damage to other boosted enemies in play.

The Lioness is as quick and fierce as you would imagine. My first impressions of this card, I became a bit wary of the low health life - but I was quickly restored in faith as the Lioness is provided with an extra life for each boost that is gained, and this quick-witted feline is able to self-boost on attack.

There are some options for the Chant of Weaving too for the standard event. You have options to summon units surrounding your opponent, along with boosting the unit next to your causing a catastrophic rampage on the tabletop.

Head on over to the Plaid Hat Games news page for more cards and daily updates on their newest factions, and summoners entering Summoner Wars Second Edition, due to be released May 2021.
