CMON is not stopping with the game announcements this year containing high-profile IPs! The Stranger Things franchise will be headed through the veil and onto the tabletop once more for an upcoming cooperative experience in the Upside-Down.

Although we do not have too much information other than the announcement, this title was not teased in the usual CMON format, and it is not solely being produced by the publisher alone. Rob Daviau, co-creator of Pandemic Legacy and Cthulhu: Death May Die, announced on the Dice Tower’s Summer Spectacular announcement stream that he is in the midst of creation with CMON, heading to the supernatural town of Hawkins.

And fantastic news for players, the Stranger Things: Upside Down title will be jumping off of crowdfunding and going straight into retail! The game is apparently almost finished and has been heavily inspired by the Netflix show.

I really enjoy the show, and found myself more and more concerned by Will's haircut as the show goes on. Stranger Things is certainly already no stranger to the tabletop, with a new game around the corner for release in 2023, I wonder what antics players will get up to cooperating in Stranger Things: Upside Down. When more is announced - I will be sure to let you all know!

Are you mad about Stanger Things at the moment? What would you like to see from the upcoming Stranger Things board game?
