Eagle-Gryphon Games is back on Kickstarter with Fleet: The Dice Game.

This looks like a fantastic game that the whole family can play and perhaps even the perfect game to bring new gamers into.

The goal is to become the most successful business in the wharf. To state the obvious, this is a dice game, but it's loaded with strategy in that it's more about resource management than the actual dice rolling.

Players will roll a die for each player, plus an additional dice and then have to choose which die to claim each round. This is where the strategy element comes in.

Players are trying to complete different elements of business on the player pads in front of them. Each item they complete their pads scores points and potentially offers different bonuses on each turn.

Gameplay continues over the course of 10 rounds, and your options change at each turn as the order of dice selection changes. You have to think on your feet and adjust accordingly as dice are claimed to try to work the greatest benefit to you.

Of course, you can always pay attention to what others are collecting and be sure to take the die that they need - a strategy of its very own!

The art direction in this game looks beautiful and it's always fun to roll some dice- beautifully themed ones at that.
