I’d have put a Donkey down on you having Colin in the studio with their new terrain KS starting last week. Yes I’m in for a bit of everything to start my third set of BS terrain (including Corespace).
I know that I am going to fold like a wet tissue and end up getting myself a Conquest box at some point soon, it’s so pretty!!!
That Conquest two-player box wuld be anice addition to my collection of models I don’t get to play with!
The Battle Systems stuff looks great, as always.

ordered the starter book and card bundle to get me going, Don’t know if I’ll get the warpath bases for the herd or just use the bases I have from Gangs of Rome, need to re-read the rules to see how much of a difference the size change would make going for circular as opposed to the rectangular base.
God damn am I excited about conquest!

So many new things coming out at the moment really appeal to me, the trick is going to be making the wallet stretch to accommodate them.
Really looking forward to the TWD Call to Arms and Battle systems terrain. Also the FoW starter sets have got me interested in FoW. Trouble is I’m bad enough at painting 28mm. 15mm may be too wee for me!
15mm is so much easier, you don’t have to worry about the details, the rule is the smaller you go the easier it is to paint 🙂

looking at the wealth of 15mm that I’ve started to highlight and paint camo on, it does look better. It’s also a bastard of a time sink. The Yanks will be painted and washed and move on to British Paras

It’s the Weekender!
Wish we had that cheap SciFi travel system that could swish me across the pond so I could visit the Flames of War Open Day. That’d be great!
I’m still a bit confused as to why Fortress Europe came out before D-Day America. I’m building the new American Starter Box and have the Fortress Europe book and cards for the Americans, but do I need the D-Day American book as well? I wish they had a page on their site that listed the timeline with their books as they progress through the late war. I know my history, but just want to understand FoW’s timeline. The Bootcamp was D-Day plus One Day. Aren’t we passed that now and on to Fortress Europe now?
Lots to watch as I work through my Flames of War ‘NAM’ models and minis! Really hooked on that stuff right now. I wish that the BoW team had made more ‘NAM’ week videos or some Let’s Plays. I wonder if they will ever revisit Flames of War ‘NAM’?

the books are changing from how they used to go. Fortress Europe is essentially get you by lists for the four main european forces. D-Day expands what you have up to Market Garden sort of time period, British and German lists will be coming roughly one every 2-3 months until next year and then they’ll probably push forward into the next part of the campaign.
If you have FE and the starter you don’t need anything right now, if you want to expand later you can pick up the book but there’s no requirement as things stand.
That Battle Systems’ terrain is awesome (as always).
Those folks are bound and determined to send me to the poor house. I’m all in…again!

How about a mausoleum for Battle Systems? You always need somewhere for the wraith, lich or more ordinary zombie, skeleton or ghoul to lurk
I think a castle or keep is the obvious choice for a building to add to the Battle Systems Fantasy Terrain KS.

I’m with Gerry on the brawl game. Good though it looks, really not my thing. Must check out Call to Arms. That looks very interesting!
I hope whoever goes and speaks to GF9 askes them about the Dune game. That is far more interesting to me than a Vault of Dragons expansion.
I am interested in the Battle Systems Fantasy Wargaming Terrain for portability reasons. While I 3D print most everything terrain related, nothing beats a flat pack for portability
We had a good chat with them about DUNE and there’s also a full seminar to watch on the upcoming board games too
I’m with Ben on the new fantasy terrain for Burrows and Badgers, but also SAGA Age of Magic and Frostgrave
Kings of War and Vanguard is where I’ll be using mine
Would make for sure a wonderful town to set skirmishes between Royalists and Freebeasts!
I really like the minis for super fantasy brawl but i’m not sure about the game yet. I’ll have to check a few other videos.

Conquest does look interesting, but ‘Last Argument of Kings’?
Conquest is often the first thought… because the other guy has something you want… oil… gold… greener grass… women… beer…
I assume it’s a play on the old phrase, ultima ratio regum, that war was the final argument of kings after diplomacy had failed.
Louis XIV had the Latin phrase cast on to the French cannon barrels
I was just making a cynical point… modern wars seem involve america invading oil rich countries
Not often Latin is quoted… one of my former employers used to like twisting a bit of Julius Caesar into a smutty comment… “vidi vici vein”

I just discovered Battle systems a few days ago when their Kicstarter launched and I was totaly blown away with what they offer.
Their sci fi ranges are perfect for Infinity and they can be flat packed between games. That’s one thing that was amazing for me as living in a flat the space is always at a premium.
Love the companion stuff for 5e. Harks back the henchman rules from the old skool game.
Yeah I very much wish I had some folks to come and play D&D with me so I could use it!

Looking forward to Conquest. It is sadly being released right at the time when I’m moving to a new job in a pretty remote part of the world, so I am scratching my head as to how I can even get my hands on a copy let alone paint and play it!

Very late to the party this week as I had to work yesterday ?
All the battle systems terrain looks awesome, its so detailed and you can’t really see the connectors. I’m so impressed. Looks like they’ve also unlocked loads of stretch goals too which is always a bonus!
Conquest is gorgeous, I pre-ordered from you too as I need to grab this one as soon as. The models are very well detailed, because of the size I think it’ll make the easier to paint too. I can’t wait for it to arrive!.
I quite like the look of the new rules for the walking dead. I get what Ben is saying about the narrative side and I really enjoyed that but this gives me something else too. I like the sound of the gameplay aswell. Definitely one I’m keeping an eye on.

I do like the look of the Battlesystems terrain, but it’s usually so light and moves around with the slightest nudge. Therefore it does not work for me unfortunately.
I have to say that Battlesystems produce great terrain sets. Now that Conquest is coming out I have to convince myself that I do not need another fantasy game. However, it would go so well with the Battlesytems terrain set. Is this a conspiracy to empty my bank account?
