Happy Sunday
Happy Sunday!
Sooooo many good hobby and gaming options. I need me some clones to keep up!
Happy Sunday!!
Or it would be if I wasn’t where I am. Although I’ve found a way to watch this so everything’s looking up!
Happy Sunday! Nothings finer than being in your Diner.
Happy Sunday! Diner looks amazing.. perfect for Walking Dead
Dammit CMON stop taking my money!
Yeah. They are terrible at that 😀
Happy Sunday! The playground set is epic, what a great idea guys!
When 4Ground nail it, they don’t ‘alf nail it. The diner is fantastic. No disrespect intended to Dead Man’s Hand, but their western range is one I’d love to use in a game that interest me, ideally weird west. Might even have to write it one (and use some of the sweet Black Scorpion minis).
Stefan is the lead artist on ASI&F rather than Adrian. Stefan’s work can be seen all over the Mythic Battles core box.
That said Black Scorpion is having a Kickstarter for their Tombstone range and game soon
4 ground have hit a home run on these buildings
Awesome show guys.
My only issue with the Game of Thrones stuff is that by the time the game gets on my table the series will be over or at least wrapping up. And I totally agree with you Justin on loving the Nights Watch especially since they do distance themselves from all the politicking bs.
If you want the big awesome battles with cool heroes you can go back to Robert’s Rebellion with Young Ned and Robert fighting Rheagar and Ser Barristan in his Prime. SPOILERS Sir Barristan is WAY more hardcore in the books. as of the last one he’s leading the charge out of Meereen not getting stabbed in some ally.
Is Warren ok? I hope he’s on holidays and not sick.
Oh and on a side note Dark Sword Miniatures are one of the few companies that actually do coifs or head chainmail properly with the chin covered instead of flopping around.
The Dullahan is a headless rider that carries his head around who can’t be stopped by gates or toll and when he stops and says a name that person dies. He has a human spine whip. They supposedly throw blood on people who watch them or look at them which marks them for death or they whip out peoples eyes. They’re supposedly terrified of Gold and it’s one of the few wards against them. They’re considered evil, spiteful fairy’s He’s the basis for all the Headless horsemen myths.
I was thinking about this myself. It really is probably about 2 years late if they want to hit a mass market thought the metal minis are nice but with Tom Meir involved I would expect no less
Bit of a ho hum show today. I thought all the advertisement sections (4ground) an the KS stuff were being done on the front stage show leaving Xlbs free to talk about other things
Don’t they always split the KS section across the two shows?
I don’t really have an issue with ads or other segments since I can just skip them anyway. I think splitting content over the two shows is a great idea from a marketing perspective and the more cash BoW has the cooler stuff we’ll get as Backstagers especially now they have multiple rigs set up for filming
A Song of Ice & Fire-tabletop wargame, that might be what gets me back into rank and file battles. Fast paced gameplay set in an established low-fantasy setting, with potential for grand battles. I wish for a lot of differently posed minis instead of duplicates alá Runewars, we shall see what the future holds.
My wallet trembles at the thought of another kickstarter.
I think they’ve said there’ll be three different sculpts per unit.
Happy Sunday!!!
I have to admit that I have always called Game of Thrones; Fire and Ice rather than Uce and Fire. Really looking forward to seeing more on this game.
I have to say the new 4Ground terrain is nice definitely getting some bits and pieces for Walking Dead.
I’d like to see 4Ground produce some traditional Chinese buildings so there’s an alternative setting for Asian flavoured games.
That diner is sweet!
Always love spending time at 4ground trade stands at events and this year I’ll get to drool over their stuff at both Salute and UKGE.
Thanks for the great show guys.
The 4ground kits are excellent, and as always leave me wishing that I had them.
Are there any plans to release the Homeland Apocalypse buildings in 15mm as I think they would be great fit for Team Yankee.
Happy Saga Day Lads. I love those Foreground blokes. Their enthusiasm is contagious . I have been over to their site twice since yesterdays show looking at their Fabled Realms stuff. I am going to have to put in an order next month …. it is just so good .( It would be this month but GW’s sky dwarfs own half my soul (and my hobby bank account0 and I have to get in on Durgin Paint Forge’s Dwarf Kickstarter when it launches tomorrow (as they own the other half …. They are the Dwarfiest Dwarfs that have ever Dwarfed … Seriously)
Forget about the Fantasy /Sci Fi cycle Justin …… it’s the Dwarf/Elf cycle that is really important and at the moment team Dwarf is in ascendancy. It’s a great time to be a Dwarf lover ……. (actually that sounds strange when you say it)
I would love to do some Red Dawn gaming with that 4Ground scenery. That’s the first thing that popped in my mind.
Also that gas station from the movie would be great.
Great diner and playground!
Happy sunday! Whata an awesome diner!
4ground do it again! Stunning kits. Can’t wait to try their new game.
All nice ideas you came up with for the playground… All I could think of was the playground getting nuked in Terminator 2 🙂
Love the dinner and play ground sets. I keep getting an image of playing a game of fall out with this terrain (maybe a little more worn out and when there is a fallout tabletop game, cause we need that. yep 🙂
That play park was brilliant. That could all be used for the 1980’s invasion of America Red Dawn idea that was kicking round on the forums a few months back
It would be nice to see a pool table from 4ground it would fit nice in the diner or in a biker bar.
I hope my version from the sale of Dues Ex will work, I also haven’t played it yet either.
@dignity I can relate with you playing video games in mp. Maybe the industry should make a new option in mp games, the 30+ or 40+ age players.
Happy Sunday boys! Another great XLBS Weekender.
“A sweet little tank” – I see what you did there Ben. 🙂
A Song of Ice & Fire rank and file miniature game seems long overdue – great to see this happening. I always thought ‘Ice’ coming before ‘Fire’ in the series title made sense as “Winter is coming.”
Bushido. Buildings. 4Ground. You guys are the best! No really, that is fantastic news! I am already working out a budget…somehow… 😀 Seriously brilliant to hear about the Bushido scenery. Made my day.
Missing the HINT kickstarter is one that I will always rue as I loved Cyberpunk 2020. My favourite RPG ever. The miniatures Post-Industrial Games have produced perfectly capture the essence of cyberpunk. So frustrating for you @lloyd with your X-Box Deus Ex fiasco – I feel your pain.
Village Attacks has some amazing minis and fun looking game play. Won’t be able to get on this kickstarter but will be on my radar for a retail release.
Thank you Lloyd for bringing up the Sea of Thieves game – looks a hell of a good time for a mmo game.
Have a great week lads.
4ground is great for the centre pieces of your table, the outskirts that don’t get touched, other companies are just as good, depends if you want to go inside your buildings and how table you want to cover and of course budget.
Happy Sunday!
Song Of Ice & Fire, wold go with either The Wight Walkers or maybe House Martell of Dorne, ultimately with Daenerys’ Khalasar as allies.
Am I the only one who was (rather creepily) reminded of the Nuke dream sequence in Terminator 2 when I saw the Playpark terrain?
As ever 4Ground go above and beyond with the level of detail in their work, it’s incredible.
Village Attacks looks incredibly tempting but I will resist (hopefully)
Great show Guys 😀
I thought of the nuke scene as soon as I saw it aswell, lol
Loving the Diner. Will fit with a few Games that I enjoy ……
I think the Gas station with repair garage needs to made. Will make an awesome board with the Diner, playground and gas station…… a few dumpster and old cars……
Not been tempted by Foreground model before but I love that diner, and with a bit of weathering we be perfect for my Post Apocalyptic table.
Really looking forward to getting my hands on that Diner, and the other bits. See you at Salute if not before.
Very nice
Justin, Sea of Thieves will be available for PC Master Race like us. And Rare will work on Crossplatforming with XBox.
Village Attacks looks awesome, like a twisted Zombicide Black Plague…
Oh, and a very nice Diner from the 4Ground guys.
When I look at that diner all I can think is how awesome it would be to make a table of Overwatchs route 66 map first point, so a gas station would be awesome nudge nudge
4Ground spot on as usual.
I just love 4grounds enthusiams. and they make such cool stuff. Since I’ve been backing quite a few things on kickstarter, I was gona take a break. But seeing their new game…I think my wallet’s gonna bleed again, the minute it goes live.
Happy Someday!!!
Fun fact: in the Finnish translation of A Song of Ice and Fire the title is in Justin’s order – fire & ice.
The 4Ground guys are awesome. I’m really digging the homeland apocalypse range. I wish I had a game to use them in!
If CMON is going to have monthly releases for Song of Ice and Fire, then this game is going to be a big money suck. I believe I will pass.
Happy Sunday!!
Not sure yet on the Song of Ice and Fire, I’ll have to wait and see what else they release about it and go from there. For some reason the idea of Westros in 15mm just appeals more to me than 28.
I love that diner from 4Ground and the play park is brilliant. I can definitely see myself using them in a Walking Dead or Across the Dead Earth game without a hassle.
I’ve pretty dropped of the digital gaming myself these days. Though I’m still fine with the Xcom and Civilization series :). Never been any good at RTS multiplayer so they’ve never had any sort of appeal for me. I’m looking at getting into Dark Age of Camelot 2 once I upgrade my machine to something that can handle the current release but I don’t really have any sense of urgency for it (too many shiny mini games to get).
another great batch of terrain, who can keep up with these guys
The dinner and playground would be really cool for walking dead
Nice to see Lloyd passionate about another game, it seemed like he had not been able to find a love in the gaming side of the hobby that those in his gaming group also played…….from dust to saga 🙂
Happy Sunday for the Saga, Dwarf and 4Grounds Show 😉
That diner is superb. And Justin, keep the beard or folk will be painting up Genestealer hybrids as you 😉
Another good episode cheers guys.
Happry Sunday gents, great xlbs again.
Love those community spotlights this week, espeially the terrain bits. Id tend to agree with lloyd on the rocks though, ive been completely sold by the foam technique.
Great looking buildings from 4 ground again, may have to pick up that diner for the club. I can see some good scenarios in the future.
I know what you guys mean about being to tired to play games. Ive resently gone back to work after 3 years off. by the time i get home from work a get my 5 year old son into bed and settled im too knacked to even think about playing any games.
Testify brother. I know exactly what you mean
@dignity any woman can tell you, never back to front. Shame on you.
I would love to see a gas station with the 4ground stuff. Always needed for any modern game. Need something to get gas then blow up.
I want the Martian menace to swarm across that playground attempting to annihilate the residents of Greenville!
It’s great to watch an interview with two people genuinely enthused in the hobby and producing the most exquisite scenery out there! 4ground you are a very special company and I doff my cap to you, yet again I doff my cap to you 🙂
@lloyd, I’m sure the vikings had playgrounds…….. 😉
Great show! I’m looking at that Village Attacks KS now.
The 4ground dinner make me hungry & looks great.
I hadn’t paid much attention to Village Attacks. I’m glad I did in time, it looks fantastic.
*sound of a wallet crying*
That diner is seriously good. Would love to see 4Grounds take on a car park which could be littered with old toy muscle cars!
Emma’s Diner looks tasty (sorry).
As to the idea of doing the floor plan for Studio X at Brokers of Want, I had the same idea several weeks ago when I saw the models for my local game store, Games Plus, done by Fantasy Arc, in both 15 and 28 mm scales, perfect for the likes of Team Yankee and Walking Dead. From the outside photos you’ve shown, I could picture the Brits vs the Soviets or East Germans driving across that bridge or Walker Ronnie shambling into the Boot Camp room. The kits are even for sale with the 15 mm about $45 and the 28 mm around $100. Custom furniture is also available for the larger scale at least. They aren’t pre-colored as 4Ground’s amazing stuff is, so painting would have to be done, abut a paint scheme is included. I’m told the designer used Google Earth shots to determine placement of the roof top AC units. The whole block couldn’t be done due to legal technicalities, but the public streets should be fair game for a mat company to do (hint, hint, wink, wink, nudge, nudge). Photos of the assembled kit are on Fantasy Arc’s facebook page.
Hoooo you guy’s at 4 Ground you are killing my wallet 😉 i have already order the complete kit for the Center Mal and i am just waiting to receive it so i can recreate the table you had at the Beast of war studio (but a little smaller) one thing that i would love to see from you guy’s it’s more Steam Punk Building that can have a Mix of Steam punk an Western style so i can create a speciel town for my 32MM Wild West Exodus world a kind of steampunky Hotel or Bar or a really special Sherif office with a prison but wit a mix os steampunk and Western i am sure it will look awsome youre stuff is just superb good job guy’s
That diner makes me think of Twin Peaks, but I don’t really see much of a gaming opportunity on that show. The playground makes me want to go wath Terminator 2.
I’ve always wanted to use 4ground stuff to make a “theme park” for infinity, so that everything is made to look like it would today. Not sure if it would like right though, would need things like balloons everywhere, NPC’s dressed in oversized modern character suits and things. .. . oh man, this could go very well or very badly
I do love the 4ground stuff. it is always a top product.
with regards to other things they could/should make, thinking primarily for the walking dead as i have that, i feel that other stand alone pieces would be very useful. The game generally runs on smaller boards so single centre pieces standout well, for example a petrol station, a small police station, a mini mart (like Quik-E-Mart) or even a pub (so we can just go to the winchester and wait for this whole thing to blow over). The range of houses is excellent and will be very useful when woodbury characters are released in May but id quite like to have some other stand out unique stuff as a centre piece for my games just like this diner is!
also, I’m still looking for an excuse to buy the Stoic Arms, my favourite kit they’ve made but i cant justify it yet. If they make something suitably amazing like that thats homeland themed i won’t be able to say no and money will evaporate from my wallet faster than you can say TAKE MY MONEY!
Great show once again chaps . On the subject of ice and fire don’t you think that with warhammer fantasy being got ride of and moved into a skirmish fantasy/space marine game . It’s left a big hole for company’s to take advantage of us that loved rank and file big games . Can’t wait to see how this one turns out and the one from fantasy flight .
Mmmm… A Song of Ice and Fire might be a starting point for my girlfriend who really is into Game of Thrones… CMON kickstarters tend to sky-rocket with the stretch goals so I may jump in on that one!
I was looking at that diner and thought : that’s exactly what I need to start a Zombicide/Walking Dead gaming table. It would fit perfectly on my desert table amid my rocky outcrops… I can imagine a highway getting across the desert and that diner beside a gas station and on the other side of the road, a trailer park, that nice park with the swings and an old crumbling barn beside a unkept house with that big gallery at the front. Piles of junk and the beginning of a corn field and the picture would be complete!
Classic american horror-movie set-up!
4ground trailer park would be cool
I think the issue with the Song of Ice and Fire title and how Fire and Ice would be better is that there is an awesome movie from 1983 with that title.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_and_Ice_(1983_film)
Now if @dignity saw a game about that movie he would need to get the clippers out.
WOW, Loving the new 4ground stuff
Sweet diner. Have get one for All Out War.
Happy Sunday,
Something I would like to see is a Theme Park/Carnival that could double as a post apocalyptic amusement park for The Walkind Dead and a Joker hideout for Batman Miniatures Games
A Song of Fire and Ice, sold absolutely sold !!!!
I am a huge fan of Game of Thrones and the prospect of being able to play that as a “fantasy” mass battle game is just awesome. I will jump onto that Kickstarter without even blinking an eye, and I think any add ons will just suck me in as well………. I think I’ll have to start saving right now…..
I just butchered it like Justin….. I mean a Song of Ice & Fire……
Sweet looking kits once again from 4Ground. Regarding future ranges I think that branching into other “stereotypes” of fantasy races would be a good idea. An elven buildings range would be especially sweet.
I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking that playground set would look great in the Batman game with Bats and/or the cops chasing the Joker into it and the Joker running around playing on it as he tries to escape.
Ive got some of the TTCombat overpass roads and, assuming it’ll fit, I think that diner and playground would look good wedged in beneath the overpass showing how much of a craphole Gotham is 🙂
4 ground brings out some great ideas of things you may nead loking forward to to song of ice and fire
I love 4Ground’s stuff and they give great interviews too. I’d shout out for the PC gaming master race but…I’ve kinda got stuck into the new Zelda so perhaps I’m temporarily disqualified 🙂
4ground diner looks great – could be something that I could use for Mars Attacks!
It would be good if it fitted well size wise onto the grid that comes with the Mars Attacks boxed game, which I’d imagine is the same size as deadzone squares, essentially the walls are intended to go along the boundary between squares.
The 60s aesthetic for this would be particularly good match for the trading cards, which are from the 60s and would allow a different feel from the film, the 20th century brick included in the boxed set, which doesn’t reall capture the feel of smalltown USA and the resin cars that were part of the Kickstarter.
I really looking forward to seeing the Bushido buildings
Happy Sunday!
I really enjoyed the 4Ground interviews!! You all have so much passion about what you are creating!. I love the new playground, I was thinking that this would be really neat for an Post apocalyptic game. Keep up the good work!!
Let Warren know we missed him! I hope all is well with everyone.
Post Apocalypse!!! Sweet.. just realized Wreck Age had free version 2.0 rules on their site.. now 4ground terrain… plus all the Mantic and Infinity terrain I have… spoiled for choices!!!
Would love to transfer TWD to a UK setting. A few less guns and a few more cricket bats and flying vinyl. Need a typical British high street from 4Ground. Mobile Phone shop, tanning salon, Pound Shop, Charity Shop, Pub serving gourmet burgers, artisan bakery . Oh and a coffee shop and a coffee shop and another coffee shop.
The playground looks realy cool. it’s alwas realy creepy for postapocalyptic games. But the The Legends Of Fabled Realms looks perfect. Cool mini’s and an interesting ruleset with the leveling up after the battles.
OMG! I’m finding your voices so relaxing I fell asleep watching today! I’ll have to try again tomorrow…
First off loved the Fabled Realms info yesterday. Great show. Now seeing the modern day Emma’s dinner even more excited to do some modern day or late 50’s Noir gaming. All good stuff guys, keep them coming
I think that there are a few things missing from the Song of Ice and Fire game that will keep it from appealing to that wider audience as you guys suggest it has the potential to do. Firstly the actual name of the game needs to be called “Game of Thrones,” in order for the casual fan/viewer to instantly recognize it, and for it to catch their eye on a shelf in a store. Secondly, the likeness of the models needs to be more in tune with the actors. I understand that the feel of this game is in line with the books, however the mass market is the TV audience. I think that you can draw parallels with Mantic’s The Walking Dead All Out War as well. A lot of the people in on that game come from the TV show fan base and i hear a lot of comments around, Rick don’t relay look like that or, where is Daryl Dixon as that game is based off the comic and not the TV show.
In terms of the likeness, they’re license covers the books only, so they need to look like the books. Even if CMON wanted them to look like the TV show versions, they couldn’t do it. The name of the series of books is A Song of Ice & Fire, not Game of Thrones. FFG do publish a board and card game based on the books called A Game of Thrones after the first book, so there’s precedent there, though they pre-date the TV show (which FFG also have licenses for) and it may be that now there’s a TV show called Game of Thrones, that licenses based on the books are not called Game of Thrones.
@troybuckle that is the problem with licensing. sometimes you just cant get the one that most non-geeks will know and so it loses appeal (excuse the massive tarring brush but you get the idea) from the wider world. I myself relate a lot more to the TV show Game of Thrones than the book series however, with the walking dead i am sat on the fence, i read the comics the books and watch the TV series and i draw my own mind about the ‘right’ characters. for example; the TV Governor is a much better looking governor than the comic book one, esp when you read the books too, . however never would i have thought that bob stokey would have been a black man by what i read in the books. Its weird how people come to these conclusions and make their minds up.
Who is right? is it the comic (or book in GoT) because it came first or the (books and) TV series because of the ease of access and wide appeal?
Another example of this would be ‘The Martian’, the book and the film are both excellent but each has bits that the other doesn’t and i feel the depth of each misses out because of it. I wish the film had more time dedicated to the journey but i also wish the book had more reference material with it to help me understand science and geography of mars.
ultimately i feel that WD:AoW doesn’t lose out to much although i would love some changes to sculpts (governor, hate him and his stupid porn star moustache) although i agree that perhaps the GoT game will lose out because its not based off the TV series, but then i am tainted by having not read all the books.
swing and roundabouts i guess.
There some practical advantages to getting a license based on the books/comics as opposed to the TV shows. One is you have many fewer people to run through to get approval. With TWD, Mantic will be dealing with Skybound, whereas if it was based on the TV show it would have to go through Skybound, AMC, and every actor whose likeness is to be turned into a mini. GW had some major issues with certain actors in the LotR movies giving their approval for minis. Another advantage is whilst it may lack the popularity of the TV shows, you do have more longevity. GoT ends next year not long after ASI&F is due to hit retail. Once it’s gone from the airwaves it will fade from the pop culture consciousness. The books are not only ongoing in terms of they’re still being written, but also books tend to have a longer life after they finish as well. The LotR book fanbase never diminishes, but the movie fanbase burned white hot for a few years and then burned out.
Very true about the rights issues. If you make a LoTR game you are wiser to build on the books license as the movies were short lived. Also when someone decides to remake the movies your game will have longer legs. Same with Game of Thrones, the next round if it survives as a classic will be another show or movies and a book based license will be easy to cash in on.
Both of these titles will depend on a long tale (see what I did there) to recover and profit from the licenses.
Having some gliche issues and won’t let me post… lol.. oh well.. Emma’s Diner will not be mine… sad.. I was going to say (if this works) that I just realized Wreck Age v2.0 has free rules and I’m super excited about more post-apocalypse games.. of course Walking Dead’s a bit “not so far distant future” vs Wreck Age or Deadzone style stuff… but of course there is plenty of room to mix those terrain sets together!!! The kids stuff is also killer!! Zombie scenario with children only models… let’s see… Malifaux Child… Rick’s kid.. the little girl from walking dead… I feel like there have to be more children miniatures for this scenario…
Some amazing stuff from 4ground as usual. The playground stuff I think would actually work well for Malifaux.
@collins and @redben, yes i think that you both touch on excellent points. While i feel the game “name” along with the likeliness in the sculpts to the TV show actors, will have very little impact on how i feel towards the game personally, i do think that the average person who comes across the packaged box will not be immediately drawn towards it as much as they would if it had the “TV Show” recognizably. That being said, i am sure it will be a fantastic looking and rich game, as there is even more flavor to pull from the books then the tv show. .
great show guys the figures for the village attackers game look good.
I like that play set, It will look great in my Gotham city for BMG
I’d like to see 4Ground make some Ships. Start with a Viking Long ship of course. There seems to be a few Pirate games on the horizon so something to use in those would be nice. Fancy going oriental myself so an ocean going junk or something along those lines.
Definitely would like a Viking Great Hall a tad smaller than Heorot.
Can’t wait to see the Bushido terrain range. The Bushido figures are so beautiful they warrant great terrain.
That diner is great, it’ll look great on my table, I’ll have to pick one up at Salute.
4Ground you need a pub for the post apoc range
The Winchester
I will be picking up A Song of Ice and Fire. I am already well underway to have my Lannister Army for Kings of War complete or SAGA if nobody care that my dudes are on 20 mm square bases. I will use the characters from the new game as generals!
The diner would be wonderful in Team Yankee “Red Dawn” if they made it in 15mm.
Nearly all my Saga warbands are on 20mm square bases as I use them in other games. there is no set base size or shape in the game.
Loving the “Diner” and “Play Ground” set`s, i like that 4ground have added the bit`s for inside the diner for me that nails. You can`t beat a building with all the internal, it`s what has been missing for year`s from games, but now it`s here and adds that extra little touch. Instead of fighting in a empty room, you now get to fight from behind or over the furniture. You also get the added bonus of fighting with some of it……………..throwing chairs – pots and pans, you get the picture.
With the diner, you get to add a play area for the kids who happen to live in the RV site behind the diner. Or you would if the zombie horde would take some time out, there`s just so many set ups you can do with 4ground stuff……………the skies the limit.
The main thing that stands out for me with the 4ground stuff, you can now get to buy part`s of different set`s and design your own play area. I for one will be looking in to this, as i have the WD all out war KS and i think it`s time i started adding to it.
Woohoo! +1 for Horizon: Zero Dawn
Great game – certainly makes you think about the potential for tabletop terrain. Watch out for next week @lorgaroz as we have a chat about a game which very much explores this.
So if you buy one of everything that 4Ground makes, how long does it take you to pay off the credit card bill?
Depends on how much is left over after the divorce comes through… :p
Happy Sunday like the diner now need some mobile homes to make a trailer park beside the diner then add a gas station and you got a redneck town out in the back roads of the country
4ground is so good at making me spend money. I’m going to use the diner and playground for “this is not a test, and walking dead games.” Great show.
Homeland apocalypse? More like home budget apocalypse. Lol. On a more serious note, I love how much the 4ground guys love what they do. It’s much easier to give your hobby budget to a company that is passionate about their product.
happy sunday ! im not in to Fire and ice as much as walking dead for example but it could be great game system, having mr Lang and mr kopiński this flags for me as potential shiny to buy.
4Ground needs a Radio Station or a School so the DJ or science teacher can save the day.
so many good games news this weekend! I would love to see 4ground to create library/bookshop/comics shop expansion in to mall!
Great sunday show Guy’s, enjoyed it while painting my bolt action snipper commando’s! 🙂
here is photo of churh and town Ben from $ground was talking about @jdignity

Win stuff? Yes please!
The diner looks superb.
I woild like to see a 1 story schoolbuilding from a suburb.
that would also match great with the playground.
Think I need it hahaha and a zombie apocalypse game too.
The diner looks great. You can see how 4ground keep pushing the boundaries. If they had produced that a couple of years ago it would have still been good but things like the floor would have been one colour. Now that black and white chequered floor really makes it pop.
I’m curious to see what 4Ground do with the range with the diner and play park. Cool ideas.
Great show, thanks for all.
I usually get down to do some hobby past 8 o’clock in the evening. Usually while watching/listening to a BoW show.
Painting I tend to save for the weekends when I can paint in daylight. This also means I do more painting during summer than during winter.
Those new 4Ground kit are really nice! That diner would look ace standing next to an old gas station, the really old ones made mostly of huge glass…
4Ground just keeps nailing it.
Thanks for another fun/ information filled show!
I’m putting together a Fallout themed game so the dinner would be great if it was a little more wrecked looking but a bit of DIY should sort that out. Just needs a Nuka Cola poster on the wall.
Love the 4groumd stuff. There always so excited about their products. You can’t help, but get excited to.
this episode should be called No Dwarfs Included @lloyd @dignity
Diner looks cool but not sure if it would fit in with the rest of my zombie apocalypse terrain. If 4Gound do come out with a seedy biker bar, I am so getting it. Be good if they did a tattoo parlour and a pawn shop as well.
Happy Sunday! That diner is great. As a This Is Not A Test player, I wold love to see that make its way to my table.
Beautiful diner! And my daughters name is Emma, that would be perfect!
That Diner is kickin! I’m thinking Maximum Overdrive! Get a Green Goblin faced toy truck and some other vehicles, and you’re good to get over-driving!
4Ground, always such a treat to have them on the show!
The 4Ground kits look great as usual, liked hearing about where they’re going in the future, The Tanks news was welcome as well
Cool diner and playgroundso many have ossibilities.
The diner is a great addition to any modern or post apocalyptic table. Great stuff!
oh man i would love it if 4ground could make a pub like the winchester from shaun of the dead so you could re-enact the fight scene out or just go to the winchester have a nice cold pint and wait for this to all blow over!
Happy…. tuesday…. Yes I know I’m a bit late!
Am starting to think it’s a cosmic conspiracy….
Beginning of last year, Fallout 4…. finished that… left me in the post-apocalyptic mindset…then Shattered Earth arrived on KS…. minor slip of the mouse button… oops appear to have backed that….
Fast forward a year and rediscovered F4 having downloaded all the expansions… then the lovely gents at Massive Awesome tell me “it’s almost here” and Shattered Earth will be with me in the next few months… and then the lovely gents at 4Ground release the Diner…
Am thinking some Fallout 4 style weathering on that will look awesome for a Shattered Earth table
(yes I know I’m trying to find ways to justify my hobby spendings but hell it fits!! 😀 )
That diner is looking great, you can just about see Dale on the roof taking aim at a walker…
I want that Diner for my Batman. It looks a lot like the diner from the beginning of Arkham Knight, which is cool as the campaign book is coming out!
The playground had me thinking I would like to see more stuff for creating parks. Seating areas, band stands and the like.
Love that Diner. It would be perfect for a game of This is Not a Test.
4ground is amazing.
OMG I love that diner!
That Diner looks like it would be good for Batman too
Really liking the look of those new 4ground kits, and interested to see what fabled realms is going to be like. I would like to see some more ruins of Daldorr which are more normal building or a wizards workshop/tower which are ruined
All this talk of computer games, I feel so old.
But thinking of computer games…. a 4ground 80s arcade with pacman, space invaders and the like could be awesome.
Now that Diner is beeeyeeetiful. It will go very nicely with the 4Ground trees, chicago way houses and dead man’s hand church and windmill that now make up my walking dead layout. All sitting on the modern Deep Cut 6 x 2 by 2 mat I would never have seen without BoW (thanks guys!). These kits are a joy to make and look just the canine’s testicles.
I have just taken delivery of Grimlords Endure the Stars. Oh dear lord, so many mini’s I have to look at a cel technique or similar. Fantastic value and…the minis are very nice. They are made of a hard plastic with no warpage. The male figures generally seem more successful to me, better proportioned a little more interesting in terms of their equipment and pose. The monsters though are very nice throughout. I need to give some thought to a simple airbrush only scheme to get em done.
Incredible job at 4ground now his modern range can build a detailed board for modern/ post apocaliptic themed game, I wonder to play some soviet invasion of USA like on global conflict video game, where bombs starts to explode on a park nears mall.
This stuff is perfect for Walking Dead. Love it
Those 4ground renders are stunning. A song of ice and fire had me the most excited though.mAlot of talent at CMON and love to see the detail they can achieve with the new plastics. Finally get to have some cool dire wolves.
Great stuff from 4ground,
how about a trailer Park
Me, Me, Me, please let me win that awesome 4Ground prize!
Awesome show guys, that diner is great for a superhero cafe
I’d like to see a gun shop, and a kwik-e-mart. maybe also a car show-room
And a roller skate/skate board park
Keep up the awsome work!
Great diner, perfect for walking dead or spectre ops.
Would like a basket ball court or 5aSide pitch in the range too.
Hope I’m still in with a chance for that diner – it looks amazing.
Not sure about a BoW business unit, but perhaps a multi-purpose office / industrial park site that happens to use the BoW footprint would be cool. So those who want to recreate BoW could do so but for everyone else there would still be another useful building.
I’d love 4Ground to produce a hospital for this range although yikes, given how big it would have to be, that would be expensive!
That diner would be good for my constant threat to putting XCOM on the tabletop.
Love all my 4ground terrain already, I’m sure some more want hurt
Wishful thinking to get ASOIAF into big retailers I think. Unless they can get terrain in there!
Happy Sunday 🙂
