The world of RuneWars is getting its fourth faction later this year as Fantasy Flight Games revealed the Uthuk Y’llan and their chaotic beasts!

Uthuk Y'llan Army

As a fan of the deckbuilder card game from the same Fantasy universe, it's great to see these wild and rampaging warriors coming to the tabletop led by the vile and devious Ravos The Everhungry.

Ravos The Everhungry

This fellow is looking superb and as you might have guessed from his name he is quite the bloodthirsty warrior in combat. Because of his thirst for battle he can do a fair bit of harm to units around him, but the sheer presence of him on the battlefield also panics his foes.

Warriors & Beasts

Running into battle on his orders we have the Berserkers who are your standard line troops for this army of the damned.

Berserkers

Because of the nature of how they fight, completely uncaring for their own welfare, they can add the Lethal keyword to their attacks for an advantage in combat and are so wild and crazy making them break is fairly hard to do!

We mentioned beasts as well and that's where the Fleshrippers come in.

Fleshrippers

These creatures and wild and erratic as a cavalry choice and therefore will be hard to pin down. Add to that the fact that they can rage and slash at units doing extra damage when they're engaged and you'll want to kill these creatures at range.

Last but not least we have the Spined Thresher which is the big beastie that will be going up against the Rune Golems and Carrion Lancers out there.

Spined Thresher

It is Brutal, Steadfast against Fear and even gets the ability to re-roll dice when the enemy is panicking. This is a truly nasty looking shock troop to use on your enemy.

What do you make of the Uthuk Y’llan?
