Marid Sahar & Trinnavarta Bring Mythic Power To Conquest
August 28, 2025 by avernos
Para Bellum Games continues to expand the mystical Sorcerer Kings with one of their most visually striking additions yet: the Marid Sahar, and the Trinnavarta Monster Dual Kits for the fantasy games of Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings and First Blood.
Marid Sahar // Para-Bellum Games
These elemental cavalry units bring a fresh wave of magical flavour to Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings, riding into battle atop ethereal, seahorse-like creatures drawn straight from the depths of arcane waters. With their flowing forms and ornate armour, the Marid Sahar not only add a unique silhouette to your army but also promise an exciting new gameplay twist for Sorcerer Kings players.
It won't come as a surprise that the units have Fluid Formation allowing them to move quickly and reposition themselves on the battlefield with ease. The kit can be assembled as the Marid Sahar which is not only a ranged unit but also has spellcasting in its arsenal reaching out and turning opponents Blood to Water a spell which is more devastating if the target is engaged with Court of Water units. That makes the Marid Lancers an ideal option to pin them in place with Tidal Wave allowing them to do more damage on the charge with brutal impact hits!
Trinnavarta Sabhgrih // Sorcerer Kings
Striking a balance between ethereal beauty and overwhelming power, the Trinnavarta Monster Dual Kits bring two majestic horrors to life: the Chandava , a potent spellcaster, and the Sabhagrih, a devastating melee brute.
The Sabhagrih can deal relentless blows against their opponent, with fourteen attacks, any ones rolled add an additional hit to your target, and this is further impacted by the Fury of the Tempest rule that changes it to rolls of one and two! With a lack of cleave it will become death of a thousand cuts which I'm fully at home to.
Trinavarta Chandavat
The Chandavat is the support option, a spellcaster with Lifting Winds to carry friendly units further in their movement or charges or reaching out with a devastating lightning bolt that deals more damage to heavily armoured targets. It also has a regular barrage attack that through the use of the Eye of the Storm it can fire into targets it is engaged with itself! So while not as attack heavy as the Sabhagrih it is still no slouch if trapped in combat.
Heavily inspired by Indian mythology, these multi-winged behemoths soar with grace and menace, promising commanding table presence and tactical depth. Whether you favour arcane devastation or raw combat prowess, these kits deliver both aesthetic elegance and monstrous might.
Available to Pre-Order this weekend and due for release at the end of September for the Marid Sahar and mid-October for the Trinnavarta the Sorcerer Kings have some fantastic units on the horizon for the Courts of Water and Air for your elemental armies in the world of Ea!

The big bird would make an awesome ‘Keeper of Secrets’. A fantastic sculpt.
I don’t imagine you’re the only one thinking that
not “Lord of Change” ?
You’re right! I take off my hat to you sir. It has been a long time since I looked at GW armies.
they use credit cards. Nobody has change any more…
Welcome to the New World Order.
“Lord of credit cards” is the GW greater demon of sales.
see horses ?
sea horses !
😀
The marid reminds me to get back on my hippocampi.
Now, that Trinnavarta is exactly what I need for my Indian army. Ohoho.. yeah, I’ll be buying one. Its a little funny to see the helmet strapped on his head as it reminds me of Mako the wizard from “Conan the Barbarian”.
