2nd Dynasty's Ben Mowbray is back on Kickstarter with a new campaign looking to fund the production of an awesome 28mm Traveller Starship, the famous Beowulf!

The Beowulf is a famous miniature from the Traveller roleplaying game and now you're going to be able to bring your own to the tabletop for your campaigns. The core focus of the Kickstarter is to bring the 28mm scale Type A Free Trader Beowulf to life so that you can print it at home on your 3D Printers.

The Beowulf is a pretty amazing piece of engineering and as you can see from the image above, a lot of time has been put into making sure that it is as accurate as possible to the plans from the roleplaying game. It has a fully detailed cockpit, living quarters, cargo bay and more.

Whilst obviously the physical Starship will be fun for use in Traveller, a lot of people could also find this to be a fantastic piece to use when playing games like Stargrave. You could use this on the tabletop as just another piece of terrain or perhaps the tabletop itself. Imagine a Stargrave boarding action game played out inside the Beowulf!

As well as the physical miniature that you can print at home, the team are also releasing deckplans for the Beowulf and more.

You'll also be able to snap up designs for the Type S Scout/Courier and the Type J Seeker so you can have more fun in your games across a variety of starships. The deckplans that can be snapped up to use at the tabletop are also going to be added as Virtual Tabletop items too!

This means that you'll be able to add these deckplans to the likes of Roll 20 complete with...

• Images with transparent backgrounds for layering
• Neutral lighting so you can set lighting yourself
• Modular pieces to customise the interior layout of your ship
• A collection of beds, furniture, partitions and machinery for said customisation
