The gang have joined Tom from Themeborne to play the gruesome storytelling adventure, Escape The Dark Castle.

Lance, Cass, Ryan and Tom are joined together to form a rag tag crew of survivors battling through a deck of 15 story cards to find an escape to humanity once more.
Can they make it through or will they perish to plague, bears or spooky entities in Escape The Dark Castle?

Dark Castle has been a firm favourite in the Russell household since the first KS landed, I cannot wait for the all the new stuff to arrive… hopefully not long now.

We play EtDC when ever we are waiting for one of our D&D players to arrive that seems to be running late.

Nice looking game. Looks like a fun group game to play. Is there a method of scaling based on the number of players?
Also, it would have been nice to have another version where you don’t know the consequences of your decisions until after you have committed or not.
It already scales based on the number of players (to a maximum of 4). Fewer players have more starting health, because each one will be the victim of punishment more often. And the number of skills (dice rolled) added to a monster is based on the number of players.
I don’t know if you could scale up beyond 4 players without breaking the game balance.

I really enjoy this game. Wish I could have picked up the expansions on the 2nd KS.
Cool to see all the additions in play. Haven’t managed to win a game yet. The new tricks only seem to make matters worse. But I still love the atmosphere of this game.
