7th Son over on YouTube is quite a fan of the miniatures from Reconquer Designs. So, it made sense for them to work together on a new range of miniatures for use with the Wars Of The Roses. See what you make of the first miniatures from Ragged Staff Minis.

7th Son has been diving deep into the Wars Of The Roses over the last while and so wanted to create some miniatures that represented the armies that they were fighting with during their games. With that in mind, there are four miniatures to start things off which come packed with the kind of detail you'd expect from the sculpting of Reconquer Designs.

Working together, these four miniatures have come to life! They were available to buy on Etsy from the Ragged Staff Minis Store but have sold out quite spectacularly. More are on the way though so make sure to keep it bookmarked and keep an eye on their Facebook Page as well.

Leading the way is The Loyal Standard Bearer.

He comes with a livery coat and a sallet helm as well as a few other pieces of armour for good measure. He can be posed holding the standard over his shoulder as seen here or you could even have it being held forth and aloft if you like. It would be a good idea to make sure he has the hammer though for cracking a few skulls.

Next up, we have the Knight Baronet who is charging forward, weapon raised, to crash someone who has got on his bad side.

He was sculpted to look like he is in the heart of combat, perhaps surrounded by his enemies. To add to that vibe, you can have him with helmet off but you can also make him a bit more cautious and give him a helmet if you prefer. He could be painted to represent the leader of your force or an embattled veteran trying to fight their way out of a sticky situation.

My favourite of the miniatures is The Captain Of Archers. I really love this grizzled fellow who has probably had enough of the young whipper-snappers that he has been charged with.

He comes with arms and armour that might have come from a few winters on campaign and I think the beard really sells the veteran feel. It's good that he has a falchion on hand for when the fighting gets dirty and the arrows are spent.

Talking of spent arrows, here is The Melee Archer who has probably found themselves being directed by that chap above to get stuck in and start with the knife work.

He also comes with a falchion and a buckler which might be handy for when the enemy close in. He wears a livery coat, chain shirt and gambeson and much like with a lot of the other miniatures, can have his weapons swapped out if you'd prefer him to be using different weapons.

If this range has interested you, you can see a very good video breakdown here from 7th Son directly...

Have a watch of that and tell me which of the four is your favourite. Also, a reminder that you should keep an eye on social media as that's going to be a good place to be alerted when new miniatures are added to the Etsy store.

Are you going to be picking these up? One of our community members already has!
